Budget-friendly AP automation with AI capture, approvals, records, and reporting.

AutoPayables is accounts payable software for AP clerks, controllers, finance teams, and bookkeeping firms. It takes invoices through upload or forwarded email, uses AI to extract fields and line items from PDFs, scans, and photos, applies line-level GL coding, and routes bills above configured thresholds for approval. Vendor records include terms, contacts, bank details, and 1099 tracking, while purchase-order records can convert into bills. That makes it a fit for teams that want basic invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payable records in a web-based workflow.
Pricing is split across three named plans. Starter is $0 one-time and includes AI invoice capture, vendor management, basic approvals, and email support. Growth is $49 per month when billed monthly or $294 per year when billed annually; it adds approval workflows, payment runs, purchase orders, and AP aging and reports, with the annual highlights specifying approval thresholds and batch payment runs. Scale is $149 per month or $894 per year and adds unlimited invoices, API access, and dedicated onboarding to everything in Growth. According to the published pricing, the paid tiers suit teams that need more workflow capacity or an API.
The product combines invoice capture, line-level coding, approval audit trails, vendor records, payment-run tracking, and AP, vendor-spend, GL, and cash-out reporting. Its REST API can upload invoices and retrieve structured data, but the broader platform fit is narrow: current accounting integrations are zero, and QuickBooks Online, Xero, and NetSuite are marked coming soon. AutoPayables stores purchase orders without two-way or three-way matching, and it records payments rather than executing them. It also does not support multi-entity workflows. Choose it for basic AP control at a budget-conscious price; choose an alternative if accounting connectivity, PO matching, payment execution, or multi-entity support is central.
