AutomateIt is an Android automation app for smartphones and tablets. It lets users create trigger-and-action rules that respond to events including SMS messages, battery levels, Bluetooth connections, location changes, Wi-Fi states, calls, time events and device startup. Actions include notifications, sounds, app launches, connectivity changes, volume adjustments, SMS sending, screen settings and other device controls. It is aimed at people who want to automate recurring actions directly on an Android device rather than manage cloud-based business workflows.

Its strongest capability is the depth of its device-level rule system. Composite actions run sequentially, while composite AND and OR triggers support conditional logic. Rules can launch applications, enable or disable other rules, send SMS messages, make phone calls, control sounds, volume and screen settings, and respond to several phone-state events. Rule backup, restore and sharing add practical management options, and the Community Rules Market provides a place to discover and share rules.

The product uses a freemium model. The Free plan includes unlimited rules, while the AutomateIt Pro plan adds advanced features. Dropbox and Google Drive are listed integrations, but the platform remains focused on Android device automation rather than broad application-to-application workflows. Choose AutomateIt for trigger-based control of Android phones and tablets, especially when sequential actions or conditional rules matter. Choose another workflow tool if your priority is connecting many business applications across platforms.
