A strong call and text scam shield, with identity protection included in broader plans.

Aura Call Protection is a mobile feature within Aura’s online safety service for consumers and families who want scam-call, spam-text, and broader identity and fraud protection in one subscription. It blocks known spam and scam calls, screens unknown callers with an AI-powered assistant, provides screened-call summaries on the lock screen, and filters dangerous spam texts on iOS. The feature is available through Aura’s iOS and Android apps, with configurable call-protection levels and an option to pause call protection.
Pricing is plan-based rather than standalone. The Individual plan costs $12 per month when billed annually or $15 per month when billed monthly, and includes identity theft protection, $1M identity theft insurance, 3-bureau credit monitoring, AI spam call and message protection, and 24/7 customer support. Couple costs $22 per month annually or $29 monthly, with $2M identity theft insurance and the same listed core benefits. Family costs $32 per month annually or $50 monthly, adding family and child identity protection, $5M identity theft insurance, and U.S.-based expert fraud remediation. A 14-day free trial is available, and there is no free plan.
The carrier ecosystem is a practical strength: listed integrations include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Xfinity, Mint Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Spectrum, TracFone, Visible, and Really. Users can also choose call-protection levels and pause protection, which gives the feature some control over how calls are handled. Aura Call Protection fits buyers who primarily want AI-assisted call screening, scam blocking, and text-link filtering alongside identity-theft coverage. Buyers seeking a separately priced call-protection service or a product centered chiefly on identity-theft monitoring should compare alternatives before choosing it.
Aura Call Protection pros and cons

- Supports major carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile
- Where it doesn't
- No free plan; the published trial lasts 14 days
- Call Protection is not presented as a standalone priced product
- Its strongest documented focus is communications protection, not identity monitoring
