Atome is a buy-now-pay-later platform for consumers shopping with participating online and physical retailers. It suits merchants in Singapore and Malaysia that want to offer installment payments across ecommerce and in-store purchases. Shoppers can select Atome at online checkout or scan a merchant QR code in-store, then manage payment schedules, bills, and automatic card or debit-card collection through the mobile app. Atome also includes offers and Atome+ rewards and points.
Merchant pricing uses a transaction-based MDR, with quotes supplied by Atome's business-development team rather than a recurring platform price. The published repayment options include Pay-in-3, with the first payment at purchase and the remaining payments monthly, and Pay-in-6, with the first payment one day after purchase and the remaining payments every 30 days. Merchants receive settlement and balance reporting through Merchant Center, along with refund tools and payout-detail exports. This makes Atome a fit for businesses that need both customer payment options and operational reporting, while merchants seeking a simple self-serve subscription should look elsewhere.
Platform fit is a central strength. Atome supports Easy Store, Magento 1 and 2, OpenCart, Salesforce SFRA, Salesforce Site Genesis, Shopify, Wix, and WooCommerce, plus an open API for native websites. It covers web, iOS, Android, and API access. Merchants should choose Atome when online and QR checkout, installment choice, ecommerce integration, and reporting are priorities. It is less suitable for businesses outside its stated consumer regions or for merchants that require publicly defined settlement timing before engaging with the provider.
