Arkesel provides SMS, voice, email, USSD and OTP services, with its SMS API aimed at teams sending transactional alerts and bulk messages. For Ghana-based teams, the API covers single and bulk sends, OTP and phone verification, and common messages such as payment confirmations, order updates and reminders. It is a fit for small, mid-market and enterprise organizations that need cloud access through a web interface or API, while the Ghana credit packages make its SMS pricing country-specific rather than a single universal allowance.
The API combines delivery reports and delivery-status webhooks with custom sender IDs, timezone-aware scheduling, reusable contact groups and variable-based templates. Sandbox testing is available without billed credits, which gives developers a way to exercise API flows before sending paid traffic. These capabilities suit outbound notifications and verification workflows, but the SMS service is explicitly one-way: teams that need replies or inbound SMS handling should look for a different fit.
