ArcGIS Hub is Esri’s cloud-based platform for organizations that need to publish trusted data, create low-code websites, coordinate projects, and engage communities. It combines open-data catalogs, branded sites, initiatives, events, discussions, dashboards, community profiles, and stakeholder feedback features. The platform is a fit for public-sector, civic, and other organizations already centered on ArcGIS community portals. It is less suited to teams seeking a standalone mobile forms product for field data collection.

ArcGIS Hub Basic includes low-code websites, open-data sharing, branding and custom domains, ArcGIS application integration, and performance dashboards. ArcGIS Hub Premium adds collaborator groups, projects and initiatives, events, community identities, discussions and discussion boards, and stakeholder feedback using ArcGIS Survey123. The published purchase model is contact sales, and Basic functionality is included with eligible ArcGIS Online user licenses. These tiers make Hub’s value clearer for organizations that need a broader engagement portal, while teams comparing transparent, self-serve form pricing may find the buying process less direct.

Its strongest ecosystem advantage is its connection to ArcGIS applications, including StoryMaps, Dashboards, Instant Apps, Experience Builder, and Survey123. That breadth supports a connected web presence for data sharing, public engagement, mapping, and feedback. However, ArcGIS Hub itself is primarily a web platform, not a dedicated mobile forms application. Mobile form capabilities such as offline collection, signatures, photos, and GPS are associated with Survey123 rather than Hub itself. Choose Hub when community portals, open data, and ArcGIS integration are central requirements; choose a dedicated mobile forms product when field capture is the main job.

  • Where it doesn't
    • Primarily web-based rather than a dedicated mobile forms application
    • Mobile capture capabilities belong to Survey123 rather than Hub itself
    • Contact-sales pricing offers no published plan costs
