Arbor is a mobile app for Christian small groups, individual discipleship and church ministries. It brings guided daily devotionals, a full Bible reader, reading plans, prayer journaling, group chat, direct messaging, shared prayer, meeting scheduling, accountability circles and service projects into one iOS and Android experience. Individual members can join groups for free, while leaders and churches pay for tools to organize and oversee group activity. Separate Arbor and Arbor Youth experiences support church and youth ministry use cases.
The free plan is substantial for members: it includes Daily Walk and today’s verse, the full Bible, reading streaks, a personal prayer journal, daily challenges, invite-based group access, group chat, a prayer wall and circles. The Leader plan costs $7.99 per month or $69.99 per year and adds leader tools, group creation, gathering plans, reminders and custom studies, while members remain free. For larger ministry administration, the Church plan costs $49.99 per month or $499.99 per year and adds up to 10 groups, combined Arbor and Arbor Youth access and church admin oversight. A 30-day free trial is also offered.
Arbor’s main strength is the connection between personal spiritual routines and small-group coordination. Leaders can pair reading plans and custom studies with messaging, prayer requests, meetings and a group health dashboard, while accountability circles and member directories support ongoing participation. The trade-off is its focused mobile scope: access is provided through iOS and Android, and the Church tier is capped at 10 groups. Organizations that need verified attendance tracking should evaluate alternatives. Arbor suits churches and leaders seeking mobile discipleship and accountability tools; it is less suitable for teams needing broader administrative or attendance workflows.
