Aqilla is cloud-based accounting software for growing businesses, mid-market organisations and business groups. It brings together general ledger and journal processing, purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, multi-company and multi-currency accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, expense processing, tax submissions and workflow controls. Finance teams managing multiple entities, currencies and operational processes can use it as a central accounting environment, with automated bank reconciliation, recurring journals, supplier invoice capture and audit trails included in the broader feature set.

Pricing is structured across four paid monthly plans, all charged per user. Core costs £16 per user per month, while Business costs £32, Pro costs £74 and Enterprise costs £97. The published plan cards list general ledger, purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, multi-currency, bank reconciliations and multi-company for each tier. That makes the entry price clear for smaller teams, while the per-user model requires careful budgeting as access expands. There is no free plan.

Aqilla’s ecosystem fit is practical rather than narrowly limited to accounting workflows. It provides web and API access, REST API integrations, and connections with Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, eCommerce platforms, point-of-sale systems and Open Banking. Its AI-enhanced supplier invoice capture and coding adds automation to accounts payable, while audit data enquiries support review and control processes. Choose Aqilla if your finance operation needs general-purpose accounting across entities and currencies, with automation and integration options. Consider another product if you require a free tier or prefer pricing that is not user-based.
