A flexible browser-based builder for teams that need data-connected internal tools.

Appsmith is an open-source low-code platform for developers and organizations building internal business applications. Its focus includes dashboards, admin panels, CRUD interfaces, approval apps, and customer-support tools. Browser-based applications can combine drag-and-drop widgets with database and API connections, JavaScript queries, business logic, role-based access controls, and AI actions. Teams can deploy through the cloud or self-host, making Appsmith a fit for organizations that want a developer-friendly alternative to fully managed internal-tool builders.
The Free plan supports up to 5 cloud users, 5 workspaces, 3 Git repositories, Google SSO, 3 standard access-control roles, and public apps. The Business plan costs $15 per user per month when billed monthly and adds up to 99 users, unlimited environments, Git repositories and workspaces, workflows, reusable packages, premium integrations, and custom roles and access controls. Enterprise costs $2,500 per month and includes 100 users, SAML/OIDC SSO, SCIM provisioning and group sync, CI/CD, private app embedding, and an airgapped edition add-on. New signups can access a 15-day Business trial without a credit card, while the Community edition is available free as an open-source platform.
Appsmith’s ecosystem covers Airtable, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, Databricks, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Firestore, Google Sheets, GraphQL, HubSpot, Jira, MongoDB, MySQL, Notion, and OpenAI. Custom widgets and integrations extend that connector set, while Git-based version control supports collaborative development. The platform is well suited to technical teams that need control over deployment, data access, and application logic. It is less suitable for teams whose primary requirement is native mobile app development: Appsmith creates responsive web apps and can embed web apps in mobile applications, but native mobile app development is not supported.
