Anarlog is a desktop meeting-notes application for individuals and teams that captures microphone and system audio without joining calls as a bot. It stores notes, transcripts, recordings, and meeting data locally by default, with on-device transcription and support for local models. Users can search meeting history, apply reusable templates, label speakers, play recordings, create summaries, chat with meeting content, and export notes. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and offers an API.
The free plan centers on local use, with unlimited on-device transcription, local recordings, notes, folders, templates, chat, exports, and access to the local API, CLI, MCP, and webhooks. It also supports bring-your-own keys for speech-to-text and AI. Pro costs $15 per month or $150 per year and adds hosted transcription and AI, system-wide dictation, cloud sync across up to 3 devices, end-to-end encryption, individual note sharing, custom dictionaries, and custom summary formats. The Pro plan includes a 21-day trial. Team costs $20 per person per month or $200 per person per year, adding shared workspaces, roles, invitations, centralized per-seat billing, shared folders, and shared automations. Enterprise adds domain SSO and SCIM, policy controls, audit visibility, a custom workspace subdomain, customer-hosted capture and data infrastructure, and founder-led security review and rollout.
Anarlog fits users who prioritize local storage, open-source capture, and control over transcription and AI inputs. Its local-first design is particularly suited to private meetings, while encrypted sync and team controls extend it to collaborative work. The integration layer is narrower than the core note-taking feature set, with Google Calendar, Linear, and GitHub listed. Choose Anarlog when privacy, local operation, extensibility, and searchable meeting history matter most. Teams that need a wider integration ecosystem should consider an alternative.
