Our verdict on Amuse
Amuse is a digital music distribution platform for independent artists and labels. It delivers releases to streaming services, music stores, social platforms and user-generated-content services. Artists can upload through web, iOS and Android apps, schedule releases or request an ASAP release, monitor daily streaming insights, manage royalties and create smart links. Its feature set also includes royalty splits, pre-saves, music-video distribution, publishing administration and monthly payouts, making it a fit for mobile-first artists who want distribution alongside audience and royalty tools.
The annual plans scale by artist access and monetization features. Artist costs $23.99 per artist per year and includes unlimited music distribution, one artist profile, 24-hour ASAP releases, daily streaming insights and royalty advances. Artist Plus costs $39.99 per plan per year, supports up to two artists and adds fan email collection, hi-res audio distribution and YouTube Content ID with no fee. Professional costs $59.99 per plan per year, supports three or more artists and adds auto-saves, a custom label name and priority support within 24 hours. Artist retains 100% of royalties except for a 15% YouTube Content ID fee; Artist Plus and Professional list no Content ID fee.
Amuse fits artists who want distribution across Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, TIDAL, SoundCloud, Snapchat, Shazam, Audiomack, Qobuz and Pandora, while keeping analytics and royalty management in one service. Store availability can vary by region, qualification and plan, so artists should check fit for their target outlets. Choose Amuse for unlimited releases, mobile access, advances and growth features; consider another distributor if free distribution is essential or if a single artist needs a different royalty structure for Content ID.
