Agamik BarCoder is desktop barcode-generation software for Windows and macOS. It is aimed at solo users and small teams that need control over barcode types, dimensions, appearance, colour and production-ready files. The software supports retail, packaging, publishing, pharmaceutical, postal and two-dimensional barcode types. Its feature set also covers variable data through text-file input, making it suitable for print-production barcode specialists working from prepared data.

The licensing structure is divided into Options, Full and Publisher versions. Options lets customers choose the barcode types they need while retaining all program functionality. Full includes all supported barcode types and all program functionality. Publisher focuses on ISBN, ISSN, SISAC and ISMN barcode types, also with all program functionality. Licensing is available for single users, multiple users and sites, with a contact-sales pricing model. There is no free plan. Buyers should select Options when barcode-type requirements are limited, Full when broad type coverage matters, and Publisher when publishing identifiers are the priority.

Agamik BarCoder’s strongest area is production control rather than workflow breadth. Automatic check-digit verification and sequencing support barcode preparation, while scanner readability preview provides a review step before output. Users can apply bar width reduction, add extra text, control spot and process colour, and export to EPSF, TIFF, PDF or Illustrator formats. The desktop deployment keeps the product focused, but it may be less suitable for teams seeking cloud access, batch printing or broader integration options. Windows and macOS support is stated, although the product page lists legacy versions, so buyers should confirm compatibility with their operating system. Choose it for controlled barcode creation and professional file output; consider an alternative if shared online workflows or extensive automation are central requirements.
