Accupe is a practice-management platform for accounting and bookkeeping firms, with a client portal designed for document exchange, secure two-way messaging, task-status visibility, e-signatures and identity verification. It also covers job and deadline management, invoicing, compliance tracking and AI-assisted document analysis. Clients sign in with a client code and PIN, while firms can provide access through web, iOS and Android apps. Its focus suits solo practitioners, growing firms and larger practices that want client collaboration alongside operational workflows.

Pricing is organized around three paid monthly plans. Solo costs £20 per firm per month and includes one team member seat, up to 50 clients, Smart Workflows, a Basic AI Assistant and 5GB of storage. Growth costs £55 per firm per month and adds up to five team seats, unlimited clients, client portal uploads, bulk e-signatures and 20GB of storage. Elite costs £185 per firm per month and includes unlimited team members, a white-label portal, a custom domain, SSO, audit logs, priority support and unlimited storage. A 14-day free trial is available, and prices exclude VAT.

Accupe’s strongest fit is for firms that need more than file sharing: the platform combines signatures with completion certificates, verification, deadline tracking and AI document analysis. Companies House, Xero, Zoho Books and Stripe integrations support accounting, business-record and payment workflows. Security-related controls include two-factor authentication and audit logs, while Elite adds SSO and expanded branding. Firms seeking a free portal, a smaller standalone client-message tool or lower-cost access to advanced branding may prefer a simpler alternative. Accupe is better suited to practices prepared to pay monthly for an integrated client and job-management workspace.

  • Where it doesn't
