Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6–7, 2026, and is exclusive to Prime members. Amazon advertises event-wide savings of up to 66%, but that figure is not a verified discount on Nintendo Switch, PS5 or Xbox games. Check each game’s live listing and checkout price before buying; no game-specific price or discount is established here.
What the 66% figure means for game shoppers
Amazon’s U.S. event roundup describes a 48-hour sale and advertises discounts of up to 66% across its broader selection. The available information does not show that a console game reaches that maximum, so it should not be read as a game-specific saving.

Current third-party game-deal coverage includes Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 offers, but it does not establish a complete set of live Amazon listings or verify each offer’s current price. Open the exact product page and confirm the console version before ordering. A listing for the original Switch and one for Switch 2 are not automatically interchangeable; check the stated platform and compatibility details.

What should you check on PS5 game deals?
Coverage also reports PS5 offers, but a deal is only meaningful when the listing matches the edition you want. Confirm whether it is a physical copy or another format, the platform, the seller, the marketplace and the price shown at checkout. Do not assume an event-wide discount applies to a particular PS5 title.
Are Xbox games discounted on Amazon?
Xbox titles are included in current third-party coverage of the event, but that coverage is not proof of a specific Amazon listing or price. Check the game’s exact Xbox platform and edition on the retailer page, along with seller and Prime eligibility, before comparing it with another offer.

How to decide whether a game deal is worth buying
- Open the live Amazon listing for the exact title and platform.
- Check the edition and compatibility information, especially when comparing Switch and Switch 2 versions.
- Review the seller, marketplace, Prime requirement and final checkout price.
- Compare that price with the reference price shown on the listing and with other current offers; do not rank deals by a headline percentage alone.
- Recheck availability before completing the purchase, because Amazon says deals and availability can change.
The event ends October 7, 2026. Treat any listed price as temporary, and verify it on the product page at the time you buy.
