Enterprise Products Partners would reach 30 consecutive years of distribution growth by year-end 2028 if it raises its distribution in each of 2026, 2027 and 2028. The partnership reported 27 consecutive years through 2025; the milestone is therefore conditional on three future increases, not a guaranteed outcome.
What the 30-year prediction means
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. reported that 2025 was its 27th consecutive year of distribution growth. Extending that count to 30 by the end of 2028 requires an increase in each of the next three years. A missed increase would prevent the streak from reaching 30 consecutive years on that timeline. The company has not promised those future increases, and the historical streak alone does not establish that they will occur. Enterprise’s 2025 earnings release

What Enterprise has reported about distributions and coverage
The annual and quarterly figures describe different periods, so they should not be treated as interchangeable. Annual declared distributions per common unit were $2.175 in 2025, up 3.6% from 2024, and Operational distributable cash flow (Operational DCF) covered 2025 declared distributions 1.7 times. The company’s distribution-history page lists annual totals of $2.08 for 2024 and $2.16 for 2025; those listed totals differ from the $2.175 figure in the earnings release, so the source and measure matter when quoting the annual amount. 2025 earnings release · Distribution history
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Enterprise reported a distribution of $0.56 per common unit, equivalent to $2.24 annualized, up 2.8% year over year. It also reported $2.3 billion in Operational DCF for the quarter and 1.9 times coverage of distributions declared for that quarter. Coverage compares cash flow with distributions for the stated period; it is not a forecast that future distributions will rise. Q2 2026 earnings release

What the latest results do—and do not—show
Enterprise management described the quarter as strong. In the company’s Q2 2026 earnings release, A. J. “Jim” Teague, co-chief executive officer of Enterprise’s general partner, said, “Enterprise reported strong volumes, earnings and cash flow for the second quarter of 2026,” and that the partnership “handled record pipeline and marine terminal volumes during the quarter due in part to strong international demand for U.S. energy in April and May.” Those are management’s statements about Q2, not an independent forecast or a commitment to future distribution increases. The prediction can be checked against the partnership’s declared distributions over the next three years. For the 30-year count to be reached by year-end 2028, Enterprise must record a year-over-year increase for each of 2026, 2027 and 2028. Until those decisions are made and reported, 30 years remains a conditional milestone rather than a confirmed result.
