Positive Grid’s October 2026 US sale listing offers the wired Spark NEO Core guitar headphones for $99, down from $159, and the powered Spark CAB for $296, down from $349. The products serve different needs: NEO Core is for private practice, while CAB is for playing a compatible modeled rig through a speaker. A separate GuitarWorld deal page lists CAB at $261, so check the price and terms for your market before buying.
What Positive Grid’s October sale includes
Positive Grid’s US sale collection brands the promotion “Fall Tone Fest” and advertises savings of up to 38%. Trade coverage calls the October event Sparktober; the event name and offer should not be assumed to be identical in every region. The 38% headline applies to NEO Core in the observed official US listing, not to every product.
| Product | Best suited to | Observed US sale listing |
|---|---|---|
| Spark NEO Core | Quiet, personal guitar practice through wired headphones | $99, down from $159; $60 off (38%), per Positive Grid’s 2026 US sale collection |
| Spark CAB | Amplified playback from a compatible modeled rig | $296, down from $349; $53 off (15%), per Positive Grid’s 2026 US sale collection |
These are observed listings, not guaranteed prices for every country or checkout. GuitarWorld’s October 1, 2026 deal text surfaced a different Spark CAB price of $261. The discrepancy means buyers should check their local product page, offer conditions, and final checkout total rather than treating either figure as universal. The sources do not establish a universal sale end date.

Choose Spark NEO Core for headphone practice
Positive Grid classifies Spark NEO Core as wired smart guitar headphones. The sale coverage positions it as a personal practice option for playing with modeled amplifier and effects sounds without routing sound through a room speaker. It is wired, not wireless. At the official listed $99, it is the item associated with the advertised 38% reduction.

Choose Spark CAB for speaker playback
Spark CAB is a 140-watt Class D powered FRFR cabinet, according to Positive Grid. GuitarWorld describes this type of use with multi-effects pedals and compact amp pedals that provide amp and cabinet modeling. It is the louder playback choice for a compatible modeled setup, not a headphone amp. Check that your existing rig supports the intended connection and modeling workflow before purchasing; the sale listings alone do not establish compatibility with every device.
How to decide between them
- For quiet practice: choose NEO Core if you want a personal headphone setup.
- For playing aloud: consider CAB if you need powered speaker output from compatible modeling hardware.
- For a portable setup: compare the practical wiring and placement needs of headphones with those of a powered cabinet; the available sale information does not provide a comparative portability test.
- For price: compare the live regional offer and checkout terms. CAB’s published prices conflict, while NEO Core’s $99 figure is from the official US listing.
The sale pages establish product categories and listed discounts, but do not provide a hands-on comparison of sound, build, or real-world performance. Treat “super affordable FRFR” as promotional wording, not a measured comparison against other cabinets.
