Positive Grid’s October 2026 Sparktober discounts cover two different guitar-gear needs: wired Spark Neo Core headphones for quiet practice and the powered Spark CAB for sending a modeler’s sound through a speaker. Guitar World and MusicRadar reported U.S. sale prices of $99 for Neo Core and $261 for Spark CAB on October 1, 2026. Those are dated offer figures, not confirmation of today’s checkout prices or stock; check the retailer’s current listing before buying.
What the October 1 sale report said
Guitar World and MusicRadar both reported the first Sparktober discount wave live on October 1, 2026. The figures below are the U.S. offers reported that day; neither report establishes the current price, availability, or sale end date.
| Product | Reported U.S. offer | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Spark Neo Core | $99, reported as 38% off by Guitar World and MusicRadar on October 1, 2026 | Wired smart guitar headphones for playing without a speaker filling the room. |
| Spark CAB | $261, reported as 25% off the stated $349 retail price by Guitar World and MusicRadar on October 1, 2026 | A powered FRFR cabinet for hearing a Spark or compatible digital modeler through a speaker. |
The reports describe the offers as Sparktober deals, but do not establish that either price is the lowest ever or that the discounts remain active. Positive Grid’s regional catalog pages are not proof of a current U.S. checkout offer: the Canada sale page displays Canadian-dollar pricing, while the UK catalog lists products for that region. Confirm the currency, final price, shipping, and availability for your location.

Choose Neo Core for quiet playing
Spark Neo Core is the option for guitarists who want to practice through headphones rather than a room speaker. Guitar World’s October 1 sale coverage calls it a headphone amp/headphone setup, and Positive Grid’s UK catalog identifies it specifically as “Wired Smart Guitar Headphones.” That makes it distinct from Spark NEO, which the catalog lists separately as wireless.
#1 Best Overall
- Premium built guitar amp headphones with custom drivers that deliver mind-blowing tone and noise-isolating sound.
- Plug in any guitar (electric, acoustic, or bass) with an output into Spark NEO Core with most standard 1/4" cables (guitar cable not included).
- Spark app compatible – get access to 33 amps, 43 effects, Spark AI and more.
- Easily swap through 4 customizable presets and adjust guitar volume with onboard controls.
- Play guitar and listen to music via Bluetooth for 6-8 hours on a full charge.
Do not use the separate Spark NEO wireless manual to infer Neo Core specifications. The Spark NEO User Manual v1.0.0 describes that wireless model, not Neo Core. The available product information here does not establish Neo Core’s detailed amp/effects count, battery or connectivity features, or compatibility details.
Choose Spark CAB for speaker output
Spark CAB is a powered full-range, flat-response (FRFR) cabinet. MusicRadar’s October 1, 2026 sale report lists a 140-watt Class D amplifier, a 10-inch woofer, and two high-frequency dome tweeters. Its reported connections are a 3.5mm Spark input, stereo combo TRS/XLR inputs, balanced XLR outputs, USB-C, and DC-out.
Rank #2
- Premium AI-powered wireless Bluetooth headphones designed for guitarists featuring custom drivers and ultra-soft ear cups that deliver exceptional, noise-isolating sound.
- Included Wireless Transmitter offers seamless wireless connectivity with ultra-low latency for electric, acoustic, and bass guitars. 1/4" input also built right in.
- AI-driven tools and gear collection included in the Spark app help you instantly create custom tones and learn chords to your favorite songs.
- Stream music from any mobile device via Bluetooth to listen and jam along to.
- Play guitar and listen to music for up to 6 hours on a full charge.
MusicRadar says the cabinet is designed for Spark products and can also work with other digital modelers, multi-effects pedals with amp/cab modeling, and compact amp pedals. Check the specific output and routing requirements of your own rig before purchase; the reported connection list alone does not confirm every device combination.

FRFR stands for “full-range, flat response.” In practical terms, an FRFR speaker is intended to reproduce a digital amp-and-cabinet model with less of the coloration associated with a traditional guitar cabinet. That can make it a useful way to hear a modeler’s programmed tones through a physical speaker at home, rehearsal, or on stage. It is not the same use case as headphones, and it does not guarantee that every modeler will sound identical through every FRFR cabinet.
Rank #3
- Superior, reliable 2.4G wireless transmission technology delivers 24-bit/48kHz audio across a vast frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz with no sacrifice in sound quality.
- Ultra-low latency at under 3ms which rivals any other wireless systems, ensuring your dynamic touch and feel is always in perfect sync.
- Enjoy up to 70ft (over 20 meters) of transmission range, allowing you to move freely without any lag or signal drop.
- Rechargeable battery offers up to 6 hours of playtime on a single charge. Dual-end USB-C cables are also included.
- 110° hinged plug is designed to fit every guitar body and other instruments with a secure and versatile connection.
When comparing cabinets, weigh the loudness and setting you need, portability and speaker size, the inputs and outputs your signal chain requires, compatibility with your modeler, and price. Guitar World’s FRFR speaker guide, updated August 17, 2026, names the HeadRush FRFR-Go as a budget/home option and the Fender Tone Master FR-12 as its best-overall pick; those are the guide’s editorial judgments, not universal rankings.

- Mostly silent practice: Neo Core is the closer match if wired headphones suit how you play and you do not need a speaker in the room.
- Room-filling sound from a modeler: Spark CAB is the relevant option if you want powered speaker output and its connections fit your rig.
- Shopping on price: Treat $99 and $261 as the October 1 reported U.S. offers, not guaranteed live prices. The CAB’s $349 reference price is likewise the retail figure cited by the reports.
- Comparing FRFR choices: Match the cabinet to your intended room or stage use, portability needs, signal routing, and budget rather than assuming the Sparktober offer makes it the cheapest option available.
