La primera expresión puede describir cómo se inicia el contenido; la segunda, si es posible descargarlo y jugarlo sin ACE COMBAT 8. La ficha regional citada establece el requisito del juego base, mientras que la descripción en inglés lo llama una aplicación independiente del juego completo. Las descripciones disponibles muestran una discrepancia, pero no permiten establecer cuándo o por qué cambió cada texto.

¿Se disculpó Bandai Namco y habrá una solución?
Dot Esports y Operation Sports informaron de que Bandai Namco se disculpó por cómo gestionó la oferta. Esas informaciones no confirman que el editor haya prometido o completado una solución que permita jugar ACE COMBAT ZERO sin instalar ACE COMBAT 8. No hay base para presentar la disculpa como confirmación de que el requisito vaya a cambiar.
PC Gamer también informó de las quejas y mencionó los argumentos sobre licencias de aviones como una posible explicación debatida, no como una razón oficial confirmada. Así que no debe darse por hecho que las licencias expliquen la decisión del editor.

¿Qué deberían comprobar los compradores de Steam?
- Abre la página de ACE COMBAT 8 en Steam desde la región de tu cuenta y lee la descripción del contenido de reserva.
- Comprueba si la ficha dice que ACE COMBAT ZERO es una aplicación independiente y si especifica que requiere tener ACE COMBAT 8 instalado.
- Verifica qué incluye la edición seleccionada y si el bonus está ligado a la reserva. No deduzcas que el contenido se puede jugar sin el juego base solo porque se inicie en un ejecutable aparte.
- Si el requisito de instalación es decisivo para tu compra, espera a que la tienda o Bandai Namco aclaren las condiciones aplicables a tu región.
¿También hay ediciones físicas?
Bandai Namco Europe indica que la edición estándar se vende en formato físico para PS5 y Xbox Series X|S en mercados y comercios participantes.
