What game is free on Steam?
The offer is for Pony Island, a single-player puzzle game developed and published by Daniel Mullins Games. It is not a new release: Steam lists its original release date as January 4, 2016. The store describes it as “a suspense puzzle game in disguise.”
Rather than a straightforward pony game, it puts you inside a malfunctioning arcade machine devised by the devil. Steam lists puzzle, indie, psychological horror, hacking, story-rich, and short among the game’s features or tags. The premise is best approached spoiler-free.
