To redeem a Pokémon Pokopia Mystery Gift, use the PC in town’s Pokémon Center: choose Get Items → Mystery Gifts, then select Get via Internet or Get with Code/Password. You need an internet connection, and Nintendo says the feature unlocks after approximately 30 minutes of play. Gifts save automatically when received.
How to redeem a Mystery Gift in Pokémon Pokopia
Nintendo’s steps begin at the title screen. Press A to start, walk to the PC in town, and press A to interact with it. From there, open Get Items and then Mystery Gifts. Nintendo says the feature becomes available after approximately 30 minutes of play time. Nintendo Support’s Mystery Gift instructions also state that an internet connection is required.
- Start Pokémon Pokopia and press A at the title screen.
- Go to the PC in town and press A.
- Select Get Items, then Mystery Gifts.
- Choose an Internet gift or enter a supplied code, following the on-screen prompts.
The game saves automatically after a gift is delivered.

Both options are in the same Mystery Gifts menu; the difference is whether you select an offered item or type a code. Limited-time offers can disappear, so check the game itself rather than assuming a code or listing is still active.

Pokopia gifts and listed expiration dates
Nintendo Life’s guide, dated July 29, 2026 and accessed for this article on October 7, 2026, lists the following free gifts. This is a secondary listing, not a complete official distribution archive; availability should be checked in-game.

The Chansey Plant’s listed deadline is today as of October 7, 2026, but the guide does not say when during the day it expires. Try the code in-game immediately; the stated date alone does not establish whether it remains available at a particular time. Nintendo Life lists the Ditto Rug through January 31, 2027 at 23:59 UTC. Expansion Pass bonus: 30 Rare Pokémetal ingots
The Expansion Pass has a separate, purchase-linked Mystery Gift bonus: 30 Rare Pokémetal ingots. Nintendo and The Pokémon Company say the serial code is emailed to the address registered to the Nintendo Account after purchase. It is a one-time code, and the ingots are also obtainable through normal gameplay.

- In-game reward deadline: Redeem the ingots in Pokopia on or before September 30, 2027.
- Requirements: Internet access and a user profile linked to a Nintendo Account. A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required for this bonus.
- One-time use: The code cannot be reused on another save file after the items have been claimed.

Do not confuse the gift code with the DLC recipe
The Expansion Pass’s dynamic Ditto print blocks and wallpaper recipe are claimed separately, not through Mystery Gifts. From the main menu, open Downloadable Content, choose Check Items, then Receive. The recipe requires game update version 1.1.0.
