The Pokémon Pokopia + Expansion Pass package is scheduled to release in South Korea on October 29, 2026, with preorders beginning October 15. The announced Nintendo Switch 2 edition is a physical game-key card, not a card containing the full game: it requires an internet connection and at least 10 GB of free storage for the initial download. The Korean announcement lists a suggested price of ₩127,900. It does not name the selected retailers or establish the same release date for other countries.
What the October 29 package includes
Pokémon Korea’s September 30, 2026 announcement identifies the product as Pokémon Pokopia + Expansion Pass for Nintendo Switch 2. It is a South Korean package version that bundles the base game and the paid Expansion Pass. This is distinct from buying the digital Expansion Pass on its own, which requires the full version of Pokémon Pokopia.
The announcement calls the physical format a game-key card. The card does not store the full software: an internet connection and at least 10 GB of free storage are required, and the full game downloads the first time it is played. Updates may require additional space. The ₩127,900 suggested retail price is specific to the South Korean listing, not a worldwide price or a confirmed price from a particular retailer.

These dates and price come from Pokémon Korea’s South Korean announcement. It does not establish October 29 as a global launch date, identify participating retailers, or confirm a separately packaged Expansion Pass DLC version at retail. Check the listing for your country before relying on the Korean date, price, language options or bonuses.

What the Expansion Pass adds and when
Nintendo describes the Expansion Pass as three content parts, with one purchase granting access to all three as they release. The official content announcement and Nintendo product information describe the parts as follows:

Language, storage and setup details on the Korean listing
The Korean package listing names Korean, Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese as supported languages; it specifies European Spanish. These are the Korean listing’s stated options and should not be assumed for every regional package. The listing also states a 10 GB minimum free-space requirement for the initial download, with potentially more space needed for updates.

The South Korean package announcement lists a berry-themed furniture set as a purchase bonus and a serial code for 30 rare Pokémetal ingots. The ingots are also obtainable through normal play. To redeem the code through Mystery Gifts, players need an internet connection and a linked Nintendo Account; a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required. Mystery Gifts becomes available after about 30 minutes of gameplay, according to the announcement. The code is valid through September 30, 2027.

If you already own the full game, Nintendo Support says the digital Expansion Pass is available through Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Store. Those are official digital purchase routes; they do not confirm which retailers will carry the South Korean physical package.
