A secondary report says Pokémon GO will feature Zorua in a Community Day on Saturday, October 10, 2026, with boosted Shiny opportunities. However, the official Pokémon GO news result located for this topic covered March–May 2026 events, not an October Zorua event. Treat the October schedule and bonuses below as reported details, not officially confirmed instructions.
What the report says about the event
The report says Zorua Community Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. It describes increased wild appearances and better-than-usual opportunities to encounter Shiny Zorua. It does not provide numerical Shiny odds, so there is no supported probability to cite and no guarantee of a Shiny encounter.
According to the report, Zorua may continue to appear at PokéStops with active regular Lures through 9 p.m. local time. Those stops are also described as having increased Shiny opportunities and a chance to produce Zorua with Special Backgrounds. How to get the reported Sucker Punch move
The report says evolving Zorua during the event or within four hours after it ends will produce a Zoroark that knows Sucker Punch. With the event reported to end at 5 p.m. local time, the stated evolution deadline is 9 p.m. local time on October 10. This move timing has not been confirmed in the official result located for this article.

Is the paid Special Research ticket necessary?

The matching October event details come from a secondary report dated October 8, 2026. The official Pokémon GO news result located in the available sources was a January 2026 calendar for March–May Community Days; it did not confirm an October 10 Zorua event. That means the date, Shiny boost, multipliers, lure window, evolution move, trade terms, and ticket details should all be treated as unconfirmed until Pokémon GO publishes them through an official channel.
