For official Pokémon merchandise, start with the regional Pokémon Center online shop. Pokémon Center also identifies Pokémon Automated Retail Vending Machines and limited-time deals with major retailers such as Target and GameStop as licensed channels. Pokémon TCG cards are a stated exception: they are distributed through established mass-market retail partnerships. Availability varies by product and region, and returns on purchases from other retailers follow that retailer’s policy.
Where Pokémon Center says official merchandise is sold
Pokémon Center Support says its merchandise is licensed for sale through Pokémon Center, Pokémon Automated Retail Vending Machines, and limited-time deals with major retailers such as Target and GameStop. It also says it does not offer licensing or wholesale pricing to smaller retailers. Read Pokémon Center’s distributor information.
Target and GameStop are examples of retailers involved in limited-time deals, not a promise that every product is always available from either retailer. For a specific item, check whether the retailer currently lists it and who is selling it. A third-party marketplace listing is not authenticated simply because it appears on a familiar shopping site.

There is no established current side-by-side comparison of prices, stock, shipping fees, or assortment across these channels. Compare the live product pages rather than assuming one is cheaper or has broader selection.

Find the right regional Pokémon Center
The Pokémon Company International operates Pokémon Center websites for the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand. Its support page says it has no physical retail store in those regions and directs readers to information about Pokémon Center stores in Japan. An official online shop for a country does not mean that country has a permanent Pokémon Center storefront. The distributor information page includes the regional distinction.
- Open the Pokémon Center website for your region.
- Check that the item is listed for that region; products may not be available in every market.
- Review that site’s shipping terms and delivery details at checkout before placing the order.
How Pokémon TCG cards differ from other merch
Pokémon Center explicitly distinguishes Pokémon TCG cards from its narrower merchandise-channel guidance: cards are distributed through existing partnerships with mass-market retailers. That broader distribution applies to the cards exception; it should not be taken as confirmation that every plush, accessory, or other Pokémon product at any retailer is licensed. For merchandise beyond cards, use Pokémon Center’s named channels as the starting point.

Check the item, seller, delivery, and return terms
- Confirm the product category. Pokémon Center’s official shop lists items such as the Fezandipiti Poké Plush, marked “Pokémon Center Original,” and Pokémon TCG deck boxes such as the Pokémon 30th Celebration Double Deck Box. These examples show the types of merchandise sold by the official shop; they do not establish the authenticity or availability of a separate marketplace listing. - Check who sells the item. On a marketplace, distinguish the platform from the actual seller. Pokémon Center’s channel guidance does not verify every seller or listing.
- Read the live delivery estimate. A Pokémon Center listing’s estimate applies to that item and order context, not every product or retailer. Use the current regional product page and checkout for the applicable terms.
- Know where returns go. For a purchase from another retailer, ask that retailer about eligibility, deadlines, and process. Pokémon Center’s return procedures do not replace a retailer’s policy.
Returns: use the channel where you bought it
Pokémon Center says its return process is for orders placed on its US, Canada, and UK websites; its support guidance directs customers who bought from another retailer to that retailer for its return policy. The cited process does not establish that Pokémon Center handles returns from every regional site or other seller.
