The POCO X8 Pro is the better-documented choice: POCO confirms its Dimensity 8500-Ultra chip, 6.59-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, 6500mAh typical battery and 100W HyperCharge. POCO India lists an X8 Power model, but its detailed specifications and official India price are not established in the available official material. Third-party figures can help frame a comparison, but they are not enough to declare a reliable specs or price winner.
What is officially confirmed about each phone?
POCO’s global product and specification pages provide detailed information for the X8 Pro. POCO India’s catalogue lists an X8 Power, but that catalogue entry does not establish the Power model’s full specifications, price, or availability.

The X8 Pro has the stronger verified performance and display case
POCO specifies the X8 Pro’s Dimensity 8500-Ultra and a 1.5K, 120Hz display. The third-party comparison attributes a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and 6.83-inch screen to the X8 Power 5G, but does not establish comparable screen resolution or refresh rate in the material cited here. A larger diagonal alone does not show which display is sharper or smoother, and these chipset names are not a substitute for a completed head-to-head performance test.

The X8 Pro’s battery and charging are documented
POCO lists a 6500mAh typical battery and 100W HyperCharge for the X8 Pro, as well as up to 27W wired reverse charging. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent battery-life or charging-time test results. The cited material does not provide equivalent confirmed battery and charging figures for the X8 Power 5G, so it cannot establish which lasts longer or charges faster.
Camera comparisons remain incomplete
The X8 Pro has a specified 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. 91mobiles reports 50MP and 8MP rear cameras for the Power, but the cited comparison details do not identify the main sensor or confirm stabilization. A megapixel count does not determine image quality, and the available information does not support a camera-quality winner.

What is the price difference in India?
There is no reliable exact price gap to report from the available figures. 91mobiles shows ₹35,999 at Flipkart for the X8 Power 5G as a page snapshot, while its X8 Pro views show differing figures—₹39,690 and ₹42,990—and another view marks it unavailable. These inconsistent third-party snapshots do not establish current prices or a like-for-like difference.
For a meaningful comparison, check both phones on the same day and on the same seller basis. Match RAM and storage, confirm stock and exact model identity, and account for bank offers or instant discounts separately from the listed price. POCO India’s catalogue listing confirms the X8 Power name appears there, but does not by itself confirm a current price or stock.

Do not confuse POCO X8 with POCO X8 Power 5G
These names refer to different listed models. POCO’s official page for the separate POCO X8 describes a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and an 8340mAh battery. Those figures must not be assigned to the X8 Power 5G simply because the names are similar. See POCO X8 specifications for the separate model.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to verify before buying
- Confirm the full model name and regional variant on the product listing; do not rely on a shortened “X8” label.
- Check the exact RAM and storage configuration, since POCO says X8 Pro configurations vary by market.
- Get current seller prices for both devices using the same basis, and verify availability and applicable discounts.
- Check the package contents with the local seller. POCO says to consult the local seller about whether a power adapter is included.
- Treat the X8 Pro’s IP68 rating within POCO’s stated test conditions: freshwater laboratory testing up to 1.5m for up to 30 minutes. It does not mean the phone is safe in every water-exposure situation.
- Look for official Power specifications covering display resolution and refresh rate, battery, charging, camera stabilization, water resistance and software support before comparing those features.
POCO’s product information qualifies charging output and compatibility. The manufacturer figures above should be read as specifications, not a guarantee that every charger, cable, condition or use case will produce the same result.
