The POCO X7 5G is the stronger on-paper choice for a sharper display and a more versatile rear-camera setup; the realme P3 5G offers a larger rated battery, a newer listed storage standard and a lower price in one captured comparison-page snapshot. Both have 6.67-inch 120 Hz AMOLED screens and 45 W wired charging. The right pick depends on the exact memory variant and live price, not a universal winner.

Display: POCO has the higher listed resolution
Both phones use a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The POCO X7’s listed 1.5K resolution gives it more pixels than the P3’s FHD+ panel, so it is the more compelling option on paper if screen sharpness is a priority. realme’s India page advertises up to 2,000 nits peak brightness for the P3, but that manufacturer figure alone does not establish how the phones compare in every lighting condition.

Performance: compare the evidence, not just the chip names
The phones use different mid-range processors: the Dimensity 7300 Ultra in the POCO and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 in the P3. 91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 2,926 for the POCO X7 and 3,097 for the P3 on its comparison page accessed in 2026. The page does not establish controlled test conditions or repeatability, so treat this as a reported comparison result rather than a guaranteed everyday or gaming advantage.
realme India says the P3 is “India’s 1st Snapdragon® 6 Gen 4 5G chipset” phone and claims it delivers “unrivalled performance in its class.” Those are manufacturer marketing claims, not independently established proof that it outperforms the POCO in all workloads. Neither the available specifications nor these figures establish sustained gaming performance.
Cameras: the POCO adds an ultrawide
The POCO X7’s listed rear array includes an 8 MP ultrawide camera as well as its main and macro cameras. The P3 pairs its 50 MP main camera with a 2 MP depth sensor. That makes the POCO more versatile on paper for framing wider scenes; it does not by itself prove that its photos are better. Similarly, the POCO’s 20 MP front camera has a higher listed resolution than the P3’s 16 MP camera, but megapixels alone do not determine selfie quality.

The realme P3 is rated at 6,000 mAh, compared with 5,500 mAh for the POCO X7; both are listed with 45 W wired charging. In results reported by 91mobiles, the P3 reached 12 hours 44 minutes in PCMark battery testing and the POCO reached 11 hours 52 minutes. These are publisher-reported test results, not a prediction for every owner: actual runtime varies with workload, settings, network conditions and other factors.

Price in India: separate launch prices from a later snapshot

On that 91mobiles snapshot, the P3 is ₹2,000 less than the POCO; the reported launch prices differ by ₹5,000. Before choosing on price, compare the same RAM/storage configuration and check the seller, warranty, stock and any conditions attached to offers.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the POCO X7 5G if
- You value its higher listed 1.5K display resolution over the P3’s FHD+ resolution.
- You want an ultrawide rear camera in addition to the main camera.
- The exact POCO configuration is competitively priced when you are ready to buy.
Choose the realme P3 5G if
- You prefer the larger 6,000 mAh rated battery; both phones are listed with 45 W wired charging.
- You want the newer listed storage standard, UFS 3.1 rather than UFS 2.2.
- The lower price shown in the captured comparison snapshot holds for the configuration and seller available to you.
The available specifications support a trade-off, not an absolute winner: POCO has the display-resolution and rear-camera versatility advantages on paper, while the P3 leads on rated battery capacity, listed storage class and that captured price comparison. The listed Android versions describe source-page software information, not a verified current support-policy comparison.
