The POCO X7 Pro is the better fit for demanding games and apps, a higher-resolution screen, faster charging and ultrawide photos. The POCO M7 Pro 5G keeps a 120Hz AMOLED display and optical image stabilization on its main camera, and may be the better value if it costs substantially less where you live. There is no universal price gap: prices and configurations vary by market.
How the POCO X7 Pro and M7 Pro compare
The figures below come from regional Xiaomi/POCO product pages: Mexico for the X7 Pro, Malaysia for the M7 Pro, and UK support information for X7 Pro battery variants. They are published specifications, not results from a direct device test. Check the exact model sold in your country before buying.
| Category | POCO X7 Pro | POCO M7 Pro 5G | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Processor and memory technology | MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra; LPDDR5X RAM; UFS 4.0 storage | MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra; LPDDR4X RAM; UFS 2.2 storage | The X7 Pro has the higher-tier platform on paper, making it the stronger choice for demanding games and heavier multitasking. This is a specification-based comparison, not a benchmark result. |
| Display | 6.67-inch AMOLED, 2712 × 1220, up to 120Hz | 6.67-inch AMOLED, 2400 × 1080, up to 120Hz | Both offer a high-refresh-rate AMOLED screen; the X7 Pro has more pixels. |
| Rear cameras | 50MP main camera with OIS; 8MP ultrawide | 50MP main camera with OIS; 2MP depth camera | The X7 Pro offers an ultrawide perspective. Specs alone do not establish which phone takes better photos. |
| Battery and charging | Global version: 6000mAh typical; India version: 6550mAh typical; 90W HyperCharge | Malaysia listing: 5110mAh typical; 45W charging | Battery capacity is SKU-specific. Verify the X7 Pro variant for sale in your region. |

Which phone is faster for games and everyday use?
The X7 Pro has a Dimensity 8400-Ultra with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, while the M7 Pro uses a Dimensity 7025-Ultra with LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2. That specification gap points to the X7 Pro for more demanding games, heavier multitasking and users who want more performance headroom.
This conclusion is based on the components Xiaomi lists, not an independent head-to-head benchmark or sustained gaming test. The published specifications do not establish how long either phone maintains peak performance under load.

How different are the displays?
Both phones have a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The X7 Pro’s listed resolution is 2712 × 1220, compared with 2400 × 1080 for the M7 Pro. Choose the X7 Pro if sharper detail is a priority; the M7 Pro still offers AMOLED and a high refresh rate.
Which camera setup fits your photos?
Each phone’s listed main camera is 50MP with optical image stabilization (OIS). The X7 Pro adds an 8MP ultrawide camera, while the M7 Pro lists a 2MP depth camera. An ultrawide can capture a broader view than a standard main camera, so the X7 Pro offers more framing flexibility. These specifications do not prove a difference in overall photo quality, and the cited sources do not provide comparable camera testing.

What are the battery and charging differences?
The X7 Pro’s battery capacity depends on its regional version: Xiaomi’s UK support information lists 6000mAh typical for the global version and 6550mAh typical for India. Its listed charging rate is 90W HyperCharge. The Malaysian M7 Pro listing gives a 5110mAh typical battery and 45W charging.
These figures do not establish real-world battery life or charging times. They also should not be treated as a single global X7 Pro specification: confirm the local SKU, and check whether a charger is included with that version.

What is the price difference?
There is no reliable universal price difference without a country, storage configuration and current offer. As a Germany-specific promotional reference, Xiaomi’s official terms page listed the 8GB+256GB X7 Pro at €369.90 and the 8GB+256GB M7 Pro at €239.90. That is a regional promotion example, not a guaranteed current checkout price or a price gap that applies elsewhere.
For a fair comparison, check current prices in the same country for the same RAM and storage tier. Account for the seller, network-band compatibility, promotions and what is included in the box before deciding whether the X7 Pro’s hardware advantages justify its local premium.
