The POCO M8x 5G is listed with a larger screen and higher battery capacity; the Lava Virat Curve 5G has an AMOLED display with higher resolution, a higher-resolution selfie camera and a higher charging rating. Neither is an automatic winner: prices differ across comparison sites, and the right choice depends on which features matter most to you.
POCO M8x 5G vs Lava Virat Curve 5G: specs at a glance

Which display is better for your use?
Choose POCO for a bigger viewing area
At 6.9 inches, the POCO is listed with a larger display than the Lava’s 6.67-inch panel. That may suit people who value a roomier screen for video, reading or larger on-screen controls. Its listed resolution is 720 × 1600, however, so the larger size does not mean a sharper image.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsChoose Lava for panel type and resolution
The Lava’s 1080 × 2400 AMOLED panel is listed at a higher resolution than the POCO’s 720 × 1600 LCD. That gives the Lava the stronger specification on display technology and pixel detail, while both phones are listed at 120 Hz. The comparison does not establish brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility, so those qualities cannot be ranked from these figures alone.

Battery capacity, endurance and charging
The listed capacities are 7,900 mAh for the POCO and 6,000 mAh for the Lava. Capacity is not a guarantee of real-world runtime: usage, software, network conditions and display settings affect how long a phone lasts. The charging ratings are 33 W for POCO and 45 W for Lava; wattage alone does not establish how long either phone takes to charge.
91mobiles reports a PCMark battery-life result of 22 hours 19 minutes for the POCO and 12 hours 13 minutes for the Lava. Those are results reported on that comparison page, not promised everyday runtimes; the test method was not established, so treat the figures as a limited reference rather than a controlled head-to-head conclusion. See the 91mobiles comparison.

Cameras: the listed front camera favors Lava
Both phones are listed with a 50 MP primary rear camera, so the headline megapixel count does not distinguish them. The Lava is listed with a 13 MP front camera, compared with 8 MP on the POCO. Resolution alone cannot predict selfie quality: sensor, optics, image processing and lighting also matter, and the comparison does not provide enough evidence to judge those factors.

Chipset, memory and storage
The comparison lists a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 in the POCO and a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 in the Lava. It shows 128 GB storage for each, with POCO variants listed at 4 GB or 6 GB RAM and the Lava data showing 6 GB. These names and memory figures do not establish which phone is faster in a particular app or game; no directly comparable performance test is available here. Confirm the precise RAM and storage configuration on the retailer listing before buying.

Which phone should you choose?
- Pick POCO if the larger listed display and greater stated battery capacity are your priorities. Its displayed PCMark result is also higher on 91mobiles, but the unverified test method means it is not a guarantee of longer everyday use.
- Pick Lava if you prefer an AMOLED panel with higher listed resolution, want the higher-resolution front-camera specification, or value its higher stated charging rating.
- Compare current listings before deciding on price. The three sources show materially different prices and differences, and do not confirm a live offer for a specific matching variant.
What the available specifications do not establish
No official product pages were available to verify launch prices, exact regional configurations, supported network bands, warranty terms or current availability. For those details, rely on the manufacturer or seller information for the exact phone and region you intend to buy. The comparison figures are useful for narrowing your choice, but they do not substitute for a verified local specification sheet or hands-on assessment.
