Sources: Xiaomi’s global POCO M8 5G specifications, Motorola India’s Moto G67 Power specifications, and the 91mobiles comparison page. Xiaomi says local specifications may differ and advises buyers to ask the seller whether a power adapter is included. Motorola also notes that specifications may vary by market.
Which phone has the better display?
The POCO has the more compelling display specification if you prefer AMOLED: its 6.77-inch panel is listed at 120Hz and 2392 × 1080. The Moto’s 6.7-inch 120Hz LCD has a similar resolution at 2400 × 1080. Xiaomi advertises a 3,200-nit peak brightness figure, but that is a manufacturer claim; it should not be treated as a directly comparable real-world brightness measurement against Motorola’s listing.

Which has the better battery and charging?
The Moto has the larger stated capacity at 7,000mAh, compared with Xiaomi’s 5,520mAh typical capacity for the POCO. That gives the Moto the stronger capacity specification, but capacity alone does not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use. Screen, software, network conditions, and workload all affect battery life, and no controlled battery test is established here.
The POCO has the higher listed wired charging rate at 45W; Motorola says the Moto supports 30W device charging. Actual charging time can depend on the charger and conditions. Xiaomi specifically advises checking with the local seller whether an adapter is in the box.

How do their cameras differ?
The Moto’s listed rear setup includes a separate 8MP ultrawide camera alongside its 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera. Motorola lists UHD 30fps recording from both the main and ultrawide cameras. Xiaomi describes the POCO’s rear system as a 50MP AI dual camera with a Light Fusion sensor and lists 4K video. The published specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos or video; megapixel counts and camera labels alone are not a quality test.

Storage expansion
91mobiles lists POCO M8 configurations with 128GB or 256GB storage and microSD expansion up to 1TB. Motorola lists 128GB built-in storage for the Moto and expansion up to 2TB. Verify the particular memory configuration and the supported card limit for the exact regional model before buying.

Durability claims
The phones’ durability details describe different protections, not equivalent ratings. Motorola lists an IP64 water-resistant design and Gorilla Glass 7i. Xiaomi describes high-durability front glass and cites an internal drop test. These specifications do not establish that either phone is waterproof or that one will survive the same drops or conditions as the other.
Update commitments
Motorola’s India specifications list Android 15, one OS upgrade, and three years of security maintenance. The 91mobiles comparison page lists Android 15, four years of OS updates, and six years of security updates for the POCO. Because the POCO support duration cited here is from a comparison page rather than Xiaomi’s linked global product specifications, confirm the official terms for the India model before treating that duration as a purchase commitment.

Which one should you buy?
- Pick the POCO M8 5G if an AMOLED display and higher listed charging wattage matter more to you. Its snapshot listing was also lower, though you should confirm the current price and local configuration.
- Pick the Moto G67 Power 5G if you prioritize the larger stated battery, a dedicated ultrawide rear camera, or Motorola’s listed microSD expansion limit.
- Do not choose solely by chipset name. The phones use different Snapdragon platforms, but the available evidence does not establish a reliable overall performance winner through controlled, same-version testing.
Before buying either phone in India, check the exact model, RAM and storage, microSD compatibility, current seller and price, and included charger. Product specifications are manufacturer-published claims; they are not independent test results.
