On the specifications reported by comparison sites, the POCO M8 Power 5G is the stronger fit for a larger AMOLED screen, higher stated battery capacity, faster listed charging and longer reported software support. The Moto g max 5G lists an ultra-wide rear camera and a higher-resolution selfie camera. Neither phone is a proven performance or battery-life winner from these figures alone. Prices also vary across comparison pages, so check the live price and exact configuration before buying.

How the screens compare
The POCO is listed with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, compared with a 6.72-inch LCD on the Moto. Both comparison listings show a 120 Hz refresh rate and Full HD-class resolution. On paper, POCO offers the larger screen and AMOLED panel; those details do not establish brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility.

Battery capacity and charging
The listed battery capacities are 8,000 mAh for POCO and 7,000 mAh for Moto, with charging rates of 45 W and 30 W, respectively. Those are capacity and charger-wattage specifications, not measured screen-on time or charging duration. They do not prove how long either phone lasts in your use or how quickly it charges from empty.
Camera configurations
Both phones are listed with a 50 MP primary rear camera. The comparison data gives the Moto an 8 MP ultra-wide secondary camera, while the POCO secondary is listed at 2 MP. The Moto also has a higher listed front-camera resolution: 32 MP versus 8 MP for POCO. Megapixel counts and camera labels alone do not establish image quality, low-light results or video performance.

Performance and software support
The comparison pages list a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 with a maximum clock of 2.3 GHz for POCO, and a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 with a maximum clock of 2.4 GHz for Moto. A slightly higher listed clock does not by itself prove that the Moto is faster; real performance depends on more than clock speed, and no test conditions were validated here.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the POCO if its listed strengths match your priorities
- You want the larger AMOLED display.
- You value the higher stated battery capacity or faster listed charging.
- The longer software-update period reported by Gadgets Now matters to you, and you confirm it applies to your market and variant.
- The exact POCO configuration is currently less expensive from a seller and warranty arrangement you trust.
Consider the Moto for its listed camera setup
- You expect to use an ultra-wide rear camera and prefer the Moto’s listed 8 MP secondary camera to the POCO’s 2 MP secondary camera.
- You prioritize a higher-resolution front-camera listing.
