For the India-market POCO M7 5G and realme P3 5G, the realme P3 has the sharper AMOLED display, higher-tier listed chipset, larger battery, faster charging and higher-resolution selfie camera. The POCO M7 5G has the larger screen and a lower observed price. The choice comes down to whether you value screen size and lower spend or display quality and stronger listed specifications.
POCO M7 vs realme P3 specifications
This comparison uses the India-market POCO M7 5G listing and realme P3 5G. The figures are published specifications, not results from controlled hands-on testing.

The POCO M7 5G has the larger listed display at 6.88 inches, but its 720 × 1640 IPS LCD has lower resolution than the realme P3’s 1080 × 2400 AMOLED panel. Both are listed with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Choose the POCO if screen size is the priority; choose the realme if a sharper image and AMOLED are more important.

In its March 10, 2025 launch announcement, realme advertised peak brightness of 2000 nits for the P3 display. That is a manufacturer claim, not an independent measurement.
Performance: what the chipset specifications establish
The realme P3 lists a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 platform, while the POCO M7 5G listing names Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. This points to a higher-tier listed chipset in the realme, but the specifications alone do not establish how much faster one phone feels in everyday use. That depends on the software, configuration and workload; no comparable controlled performance test is available here.

Cameras: same rear resolution, different selfie resolution
Both phones list a 50MP rear camera. The realme P3 has a 16MP front camera compared with the POCO’s 8MP. Megapixel counts describe image resolution, not overall photo quality; they do not establish differences in processing, low-light results or consistency. realme specifies 4K recording at 30fps for the P3’s rear camera.

Battery and charging
realme lists the P3 with a 6000mAh typical battery capacity, a 5860mAh minimum capacity and 45W charging. The POCO comparison listing gives 5160mAh and 18W charging. These figures favor the realme on capacity and charging speed, but they do not by themselves predict battery life: screen use, network conditions and workload affect endurance.

realme’s India specifications page lists a 45W adapter, protective case and screen-protection film in the P3 box. Check the contents for the exact variant and seller when buying.
Price difference and availability
The 91mobiles comparison listing showed the POCO M7 5G at ₹12,499 via Flipkart and the realme P3 5G at ₹15,999, with the P3 marked out of stock. The difference between those displayed prices is ₹3,500. Because price and availability can change, check current listings before deciding and compare the same RAM and storage configuration, seller and warranty region.

Software and update support
The comparison listing gives Android 14 with HyperOS for the POCO and Android 15 with realme UI 6.0 for the P3. It also lists two years of OS updates for both, with four years of security updates for the POCO and three for the realme. Those update-period figures were not verified against official policies. Confirm the current software version and manufacturer support terms for the specific device before purchase.
Check the POCO model and region before buying
“POCO M7” can refer to devices with different specifications in different markets. The India comparison entry used here lists a 6.88-inch HD+ 120Hz display, 5160mAh battery and 18W charging. By contrast, POCO’s Global M7 specifications page describes a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with up to 144Hz, a 7000mAh typical battery, 33W charging and LTE connectivity. Do not treat that global specification set as the India-market M7 5G’s specifications. Check the exact model name, regional SKU and listing before ordering.

Which one should you buy?
- Choose the POCO M7 5G if you want the larger listed screen and the lower observed price matters more than resolution, panel type or faster charging.
- Choose the realme P3 5G if you prioritize its sharper AMOLED display, higher-tier listed chipset, larger stated battery, 45W charging or 16MP selfie camera.
- Pause before checkout if the POCO listing does not clearly identify the India-market M7 5G, or if the price, RAM/storage variant, seller or warranty terms differ from what you expect.
These recommendations reflect listed specifications and a price snapshot, not independent testing. The better choice depends on the current offer and which trade-offs matter most to you.
