The P1 has a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with a stated refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Its smaller screen has higher listed resolution, and AMOLED can deliver deeper blacks than an LCD. realme notes that refresh-rate availability depends on the app and scenario.

Choose POCO if screen size matters most; choose realme if you value resolution and AMOLED contrast. The global POCO M7 page describes a different product configuration, including FHD+ resolution and up to 144Hz, and should not be used as the India M7 5G specification source. POCO’s global specifications also caution that regional details can vary.
How do their cameras compare?
Both phones are listed with a 50MP primary rear camera, but matching megapixel counts do not establish matching image quality. The P1 also has a listed 2MP portrait camera, while the POCO listing reports expandable storage.
On paper, the realme has the higher-resolution selfie camera: 16MP versus 8MP on the POCO. Resolution alone does not establish better photos; sensor quality, processing, lighting, and software also affect results. The available specifications do not provide matched independent camera tests.
Battery capacity and charging
For the India POCO M7 5G, an India comparison lists a 5160mAh battery and 18W charging. realme India gives the P1 a 5000mAh typical battery capacity (4880mAh rated) and 45W SUPERVOOC charging. The reported capacity difference is small; it does not by itself predict which phone lasts longer in everyday use.
realme publishes lab-use claims of 518 hours standby, 85 hours music playback, 31 hours calling, and 17 hours YouTube playback. Those are manufacturer test results, not a matched independent comparison, and realme says results can vary with test setup and software. Its listed 45W charging rate also depends on using compatible charging equipment.
Do not substitute the global POCO M7’s 7000mAh battery and 33W charging figures for the India M7 5G figures above. The official global listing is for a materially different variant. Its page also contains inconsistent adapter and package wording, so confirm charger inclusion for the exact India package before buying.

The listed ingress ratings are IP52 for POCO and IP54 for realme. These ratings describe tested resistance to dust and water ingress, not permission to submerge the phones. realme specifically says its protection testing does not mean the device should be charged while wet.
