The POCO F7 has the larger listed display, while the Redmi Turbo 5 is listed with a newer Android and HyperOS version. An India-focused comparison page showed the F7 at ₹35,999 but marked it out of stock, and the Turbo 5 at ₹41,999 on Amazon; that ₹6,000 difference is not a reliable current-price comparison. Regional versions also differ, notably in the F7’s reported battery capacity. Check the exact model, seller, warranty and live checkout price before deciding.

91mobiles showed the POCO F7 at ₹35,999 with an out-of-stock marker and the Redmi Turbo 5 at ₹41,999 on Amazon. The arithmetic difference is ₹6,000, with the F7’s displayed figure lower, but one listing being out of stock means those figures do not prove that the F7 is currently available or ₹6,000 cheaper to buy. Prices and stock can change; check the seller, configuration and final checkout total.

Prices depend on market and configuration. For context, Xiaomi Japan’s July 8, 2025 announcement gave suggested launch prices of ¥54,980 for the POCO F7 12GB/256GB and ¥64,980 for the 12GB/512GB version. These are historical Japanese launch prices, not current prices or a global MSRP. The announcement also named Amazon.co.jp as an online sales channel. Xiaomi Japan’s announcement via PR TIMES
Which has the better display and handling?
The F7’s listed screen is 0.24 inches larger diagonally: 6.83 inches versus 6.59 inches. Both comparison listings specify AMOLED panels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The listed resolutions are 1280 × 2772 for the F7 and 1268 × 2756 for the Turbo 5.
A larger screen may suit reading, video or games, while a smaller one can be easier to manage in the hand. The Gadgets360 listing also gives the Turbo 5 a lower weight—204g versus 222g for the F7—but weight and comfort are individual preferences, and listings do not substitute for handling the exact regional device.

Chipsets and software: specs do not settle speed
The listings name a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 in the POCO F7 and a Dimensity 8500 Ultra in the Redmi Turbo 5. Those names identify different platforms, but the reviewed comparison material provides no matched performance test. It therefore cannot establish which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming, or sustained workloads.
The same listing reports Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0 for the F7 and Android 16 with HyperOS 3 for the Turbo 5. These are versions recorded by the comparison source, not a guarantee of what a buyer will receive today or an update-support commitment. Confirm the software version and update policy for the precise market and SKU before purchase.
Battery figures vary by POCO F7 region
Gadgets360 lists the F7 at 7,550mAh with 90W charging, while Xiaomi Japan’s manufacturer-issued launch announcement describes a Japanese F7 with a 6,500mAh battery and IP68 protection. Gadgets360 lists IP69 for the F7. The discrepancy is material: do not assume the capacity or protection rating applies to every F7. Verify the exact regional model and its official specifications.

Gadgets360 lists the Redmi Turbo 5 at 7,540mAh and 100W charging, but the reviewed material does not include a manufacturer source confirming those figures. Treat them as comparison-listing claims and verify them for the device being sold. None of these capacity or charging figures establishes which phone lasts longer in use; no matched endurance test is available in the cited listings.
Camera and configuration: what the numbers cannot tell you
Both phones are listed with 50MP and 8MP rear cameras. Megapixel counts alone do not show which camera produces better photos or video, and the sources provide no matched samples or camera testing. Choose based on reliable comparisons using the same conditions rather than assuming the matching counts mean matching results.
The 91mobiles listing shows the Turbo 5 with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Xiaomi Japan’s F7 launch prices cover 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants; those Japanese configurations and prices should not be assumed to match offers in other regions. Check the seller’s exact RAM and storage specification, since it affects both value and the product being compared.
Which phone should you choose?
Consider the POCO F7 if
- You prefer the larger listed 6.83-inch display.
- You can confirm local stock, the exact variant and a price that makes sense for you.
- You have verified the battery capacity, protection rating and warranty for your market rather than relying on a specification from another region.
Consider the Redmi Turbo 5 if
- You prefer its smaller listed 6.59-inch display and lower listed weight.
- The listed Android 16 and HyperOS 3 versions matter to you, after confirming the current software on the local device.
- You can verify its configuration, seller, warranty and the listed battery and charging details for the exact SKU.
Neither comparison page settles which phone offers better sustained performance, camera results or endurance. Make the decision using a current local offer and the specific device’s verified specifications; the displayed prices alone do not establish a winner.
