Amazon’s October 2026 sale is called Prime Big Deal Days, not Prime Day. It runs October 6–7, ending at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7, and Amazon says Prime membership is required for event offers. The available sources do not verify ten live PS5-specific offers, so the prices below are dated examples—not a confirmed October deal list. Check each product page for the current price, seller, stock, region, and Prime eligibility before buying.
What to know about the October 2026 sale
Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days listing describes a 48-hour event running October 6 through October 7, 2026, and says Prime membership is required for event deals. The listed end time is 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7; check Amazon’s page for the deadline in your market and the terms that apply to your account.
This October event is separate from Amazon Prime Day 2026, which ran June 23–26, according to Amazon’s announcement. PlayStation’s Days of Play 2026 was another separate promotion, running May 27–June 10; it has ended.

The roundup does not establish current stock, seller, market, or Prime eligibility for each listing.

How to judge a PS5 offer before buying
- Compare the actual total. Check the current item-page price against a credible prior or list price, and include any membership or extra equipment cost required for the deal to work for you.
- Match the exact product. For games, distinguish physical copies from digital editions. For storage, check capacity and model. For consoles, identify the edition, storage, disc-drive configuration, bundle contents, and whether the unit is new or refurbished.
- Check seller and condition. Confirm who sells and ships the item, whether it is new or refurbished, its stock status, and the applicable return terms.
- Verify compatibility. Make sure an accessory suits your PS5 model and intended setup. A headset, SSD, or wheel is an accessory purchase, not a console or game deal.
- Check market and timing. Confirm the currency, local sale deadline, Prime requirement, and price immediately before checkout.
Console listings need edition-level checks
A listing that says “PS5” is not enough to compare console deals. Confirm the model and edition, storage, whether a disc drive is included, bundle contents, condition, seller, and Prime eligibility. PlayStation Direct currently lists a certified refurbished PS5 slim digital console, but that listing does not establish an Amazon Prime Big Deal Days offer. Check the PlayStation Direct storefront for its own listing and terms.

PlayStation’s sale is separate from Amazon’s
Days of Play 2026 ran May 27–June 10 and is over. In its announcement, PlayStation said promotions were available through PlayStation Direct where available, participating retailers at varying prices, and PlayStation Store. Those channels do not establish an October Amazon discount.
