The Google Pixel 11 is the more compact phone and starts with twice the storage of the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE; the Samsung offers a larger display and a lower reported U.S. launch price. On the figures available, the Pixel 11’s 256GB model is $200 more than the S26 FE’s 128GB launch configuration, but that is not a like-for-like storage comparison or a current street-price quote.

The Galaxy S26 FE has a larger 6.7-inch screen, starts at 128GB in the consulted UK specification, and lists 3x optical telephoto. Both list IP68 resistance and long software-support commitments, but their terms differ by manufacturer and region.

#1 Best Overall
- Google Pixel’s iconic design meets the latest evolution of the Pixel Camera on the new Pixel 11; Gemini Intelligence helps manage details so you can stay perfectly present[1]
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan: Works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers[2]
- Sleek, solid, and built to last: Pixel 11 has the slimmest camera bar yet in its class, a smooth satin back, and ultra-durable glass and IP68 water and dust protection, so it’s intentionally built to stay strong for years[3,4]
- Long battery life: With 30+ hours of reliable power and upgraded wireless charging, your Google Pixel 11 can charge 25% faster than before[5,6]; it even powers up to 55% in about 30 minutes with ultra-fast wired charging[7]
- The latest evolution of the Google Pixel Camera: Take super crisp closeups with an upgraded 30x Super Zoom[3]; Night Sight takes clear photos, portraits, and panos in low-light settings
PhoneArena lists Pixel 11 MSRP at $899 for 256GB and $1,019 for 512GB. That is a secondary listing, not an official Google price page or a live street-price check. PhoneArena’s comparison listing gives those figures.
- Comparing the reported U.S. S26 FE 128GB launch price of $699 with the Pixel 11 256GB listed MSRP of $899 gives a $200 difference. The Pixel has twice the listed base storage, so this is not a like-for-like comparison.
- The reported S26 FE 256GB U.S. launch price was $799, but the available Pixel listing is an MSRP rather than a verified current selling price. Retail discounts and availability can change the gap.
- The cited evidence does not establish a Pixel 11 price for the UK or Australia, so it cannot support a regional price difference for those markets.
For a useful local comparison, check current prices for the same storage capacity and the same country, then factor in any trade-in offers, carrier terms or bundled accessories separately.

Which phone has the better screen and size?
The Pixel 11’s 6.3-inch display makes it the smaller option on paper, while the Galaxy S26 FE’s 6.7-inch panel provides more screen area. Both list refresh rates up to 120Hz. Choose based on whether compact handling or a larger viewing area matters more; resolution and refresh-rate figures alone do not establish which panel looks better in person.
How do their cameras differ?
The clearest hardware distinction is telephoto reach: Google lists 5x optical zoom for the Pixel 11, while Samsung lists 3x optical zoom for the S26 FE. Samsung says the S26 FE can zoom up to 30x digitally, and Google lists Super Zoom up to 30x; those digital zoom limits do not demonstrate comparable image quality. The main and ultrawide cameras also have different listed megapixel counts, but megapixels alone do not determine photo quality.

- Attention-grabbing design meets the latest evolution of the Google Pixel Camera on the new Google Pixel 11 Pro; Gemini Intelligence helps manage details so you can live in the moment[1]; and the phone is available in two sizes
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan: Works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers[2]
- Stay informed without looking at your screen: When your phone is face down, Pixel HiLight gently alerts you with subtle glowing lights when your favorite contacts are calling or you’re talking with Gemini; exclusive to Google Pixel 11 Pro phones
- Magic Capture catches the moment as you live it: With just one tap, Pixel 11 Pro captures video and photos, and automatically edits, crops, and unblurs a curated collection, ready to share – and you get the memory of how it felt to be in the moment
- Two new cameras for more brilliant photos: A larger telephoto sensor captures 30% more light for clear, beautiful photos and videos, even in the dark[3]; Pixel’s longest zoom ever helps you capture details from impressive distances[4]
No direct, comparable camera test for these two models is established here. If image quality, portraits, night photography or video is decisive, compare independent samples and tests under similar conditions rather than treating lens specifications as a winner.
Battery and charging: what the specifications establish
Google lists a typical 4,985mAh battery for the Pixel 11; Samsung lists 4,900mAh for the S26 FE. These capacities are close, but they cannot predict which phone lasts longer: display size, software, radio conditions, workload and power management all affect endurance. No controlled head-to-head battery result is available here.

Google’s wired-charging claim is up to 55% in about 30 minutes when using a 30W USB-C PPS charger or higher, sold separately. Samsung lists wired charging up to 45W. Their peak figures do not by themselves show which charges faster across a full charging cycle; charger compatibility and test conditions matter. For wireless charging, Google lists Qi2.2 Pixelsnap up to 25W, while Samsung’s FAQ lists 15W.

Both phones list an IP68 rating. The Pixel specification names Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back; Samsung’s FAQ describes Gorilla Glass Victus+ and an aluminum frame. IP68 is a laboratory water- and dust-resistance rating, not a promise that a phone will remain undamaged after every exposure or impact.
The Pixel’s listed platform is Google Tensor G6 with Google’s Pixel and Gemini features; the Samsung uses Exynos 2500 and Samsung’s software ecosystem. These distinctions may matter if you already use services or devices from either company, but the specification list does not establish which processor is faster. No comparable benchmark or sustained-performance test for these two phones is established here.
Which should you buy?
Choose the Pixel 11 if
- You prefer a smaller 6.3-inch phone.
- You want 256GB as the listed starting storage capacity.
- You value a 5x optical telephoto specification and Google’s Pixel features.
Choose the Galaxy S26 FE if
- You want a larger 6.7-inch display.
- You are comfortable with a 128GB starting configuration where that is the local offer, or you can select a larger capacity.
- You prefer Samsung’s software ecosystem and find its current local price more attractive.
If gaming speed, camera quality or battery life is the deciding factor, the specifications alone are not enough to name a winner. Look for direct tests of both phones using comparable methods, and compare your market’s live prices at matching storage tiers.
