The Google Pixel 10 is the better fit if you want a smaller phone, a 5x optical telephoto camera, Qi2 wireless charging and Google’s stated seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates. The vivo V70 Elite suits buyers who prefer a larger, higher-resolution screen, a higher-capacity battery, faster stated wired charging and a 3x optical ZEISS telephoto camera.
In India, Google Store displays the Pixel 10 at ₹74,999, while vivo announced V70 Elite launch prices from ₹51,999. That is a ₹23,000 difference between a current Google Store display price and vivo’s base launch price—not a synchronized comparison of current checkout prices or matching storage configurations.

Google Store India currently displays the Pixel 10 at ₹74,999, with ₹79,999 shown as the struck-through price. The page also lists a separate ₹5,000 store discount offer valid from June 1 through December 31, 2026, subject to conditions. vivo’s February 19, 2026 launch announcement listed the V70 Elite at ₹51,999 for 8GB+256GB, ₹56,999 for 12GB+256GB and ₹61,999 for 12GB+512GB.

Comparing the Pixel’s ₹74,999 displayed price with vivo’s ₹51,999 base launch price gives a ₹23,000 gap. It is a mixed-date comparison, not proof that the phones are currently available at those prices at the same time. Google’s struck-through ₹79,999 price is ₹28,000 above vivo’s base launch price, but that also compares different pricing bases and configurations. Which phone has the better screen for you?
The V70 Elite has the larger and higher-resolution display: 6.59 inches at 2750 × 1260, compared with the Pixel 10’s 6.3-inch, 1080 × 2424 OLED. vivo lists a 120Hz refresh rate, while Google specifies 60–120Hz for the Pixel. The vivo is the more natural choice if screen size and stated resolution are your priorities; the Pixel is smaller for people who prefer a more compact phone.

Brightness figures should not be treated as a head-to-head result. Google lists up to 3000 nits peak brightness; vivo lists a 5000-nit local peak under specified bright-light and HDR conditions. Pixel 10: longer listed optical telephoto reach
Google lists a 48MP wide camera with Macro Focus, a 13MP ultrawide and a 10.8MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom. Its Super Zoom feature is listed up to 20x. The 5x figure describes the telephoto camera’s optical reach; the higher zoom figure does not mean every zoomed image has optical detail.

V70 Elite: ZEISS telephoto and portrait emphasis
vivo lists a 50MP OIS main camera, a 50MP OIS ZEISS telephoto with 3x optical zoom and an 8MP ultrawide. It promotes zoom up to 100x. That maximum should not be equated with optical zoom quality: the listed optical telephoto reach is 3x.
The specifications show different approaches—Pixel’s longer listed optical reach and vivo’s ZEISS-branded telephoto and portrait positioning. They do not establish which phone takes better real-world photos; a controlled comparison of the pair is not available here. Which has the stronger battery and charging setup?
vivo lists a typical 6500mAh battery and up to 90W wired FlashCharge. Google lists a typical 4970mAh battery and says the Pixel 10 can reach up to 55% in about 30 minutes when using a 30W USB-C PPS charger or higher, sold separately. Pixel 10 also supports Qi2 Pixelsnap wireless charging up to 15W.

The V70 Elite’s larger rated capacity and higher stated wired charging rate may appeal if those specifications matter most. The Pixel offers magnetic Qi2 wireless charging. Battery capacity and charging claims alone do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use; no controlled battery test for this pair is established by these specifications. How do performance, memory and storage compare?
The Pixel 10 uses Google’s Tensor G5 with 12GB RAM and offers 128GB or 256GB storage. vivo specifies a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 with 8GB or 12GB RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. Choose by the configuration you need: the Pixel has a lower-capacity storage option, while the V70 Elite offers the higher maximum listed capacity. Processor names and memory amounts by themselves do not prove which phone is faster for gaming, multitasking or sustained workloads.
How long will each phone receive updates?
Google states that the Pixel 10 receives seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates. vivo states up to four OS generations and six years of security updates for the V70 Elite. These are different commitments, so the figures should not be reduced to a single interchangeable “years of updates” number. vivo says its duration is calculated from launch in the user’s country, and that updates depend on the Android licensor or developer. Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Pixel 10 if you prefer a smaller 6.3-inch phone, want a listed 5x optical telephoto, value Qi2 wireless charging, or prioritize Google’s stated seven-year update commitment.
- Choose the vivo V70 Elite if you want a larger, higher-resolution screen, prefer its 6500mAh battery and up to 90W wired charging specifications, or need a configuration with up to 512GB storage.
- Compare the exact listings before deciding on value. The cited India prices use different dates and bases, and the available storage configurations differ. Offers, stock, seller pricing and included accessories can change the final cost.
Check region and model compatibility before purchase
Specifications and prices vary by region. For an India purchase, confirm the exact handset SKU, network bands, SIM support, charger and accessory compatibility, as well as the seller’s terms. The vivo India listing specifies two nano SIM slots and India-specific network bands; product details from another market may differ. Google’s US and India pages also present different pricing contexts.
