Is Pirates of the Burning Sea available on Steam yet? No. As of October 7, 2026, Steam lists the game as “Coming soon” and says it is “not yet available on Steam.” The listing has no release date, but the existing game can still be accessed through the operator’s official service.
What the Steam listing says
The Steam store page names Vision Online Games as both developer and publisher. It describes Pirates of the Burning Sea as a Caribbean-set MMO circa 1720, with tactical ship combat, boarding and dueling, trading, port conquest, four sides—Britain, France, Spain and pirates—and “50+ Historical Ships.” These are features stated on the listing, not independent assessments of gameplay. The key distinction is that a store page exists, but Steam access has not opened. The listing provides no release date, so “Coming soon” should not be read as a specific launch window.

Vision Online Games says the game is “fully operational and actively supported.” Its current access options are through the official service, not the unavailable Steam listing. Vision Online Games and the official game site distinguish between two experiences:
