The 1.5L figure is CHOICE’s measured dust-collector volume. The archived 2021 Big W listing instead advertised a 2.5L dust container, a washable filter, a metal-base floor head, a five-metre power cord, automatic cord rewind and a thermal cut-off switch. These are claims from a historical retailer listing, not measurements from CHOICE. The differing volume and reach figures should not be combined or treated as proof that the same unit or configuration was measured.
How well does it clean?
CHOICE’s public page identifies evaluation areas including carpet cleaning, pet-hair removal, noise and ease of use, but keeps the detailed scores members-only. The public information therefore does not establish a cleaning result or rating for this model. Is the Piranha Glow still available?
CHOICE marks the model discontinued. That establishes its listed status, not whether an individual retailer or second-hand seller has a unit available today. The 2021 Big W offer is historical, not a current offer.
If you find a used unit or remaining stock, assess that exact vacuum rather than relying on an old listing. Check its condition, seller terms and any warranty in writing.
