How to choose among them
- For photography and exploration: Toem 2 pairs camera-based puzzles and quests with platforming.
- For VR interaction: Tiny Flock centers on tactile object manipulation and sheep herding; Steam is VR-only according to the roundup.
- For a longer-form journey: Keep Driving mixes vehicle management, encounters, and branching endings.
- For repeatable combat runs: Endless Rails focuses on defending a train and accumulating upgrades, while Dog in the Machine emphasizes tactical turns and ability combinations.
- For a future co-op game: Seikyu Let’s Go and A Game About Digging A Hole Together are the roundup’s multiplayer picks.
- For a genre mash-up: Grave Seasons pairs farming with mystery; Something is Wrong With the Library blends organization with horror.
There is no common review score or controlled comparison in the roundup, so these descriptions are best used to match a game’s loop and platform to your preferences, not as a ranking. If portability matters, the roundup specifically calls Toem 2 Steam Deck Verified and says Endless Rails is playable on Steam Deck; verify compatibility details for your setup before purchasing.
