The Philips Jamie Oliver HR7782/00 is a discontinued 1000 W food processor with a 3.4 L bowl and a broad set of listed attachments. Philips’s specifications describe a versatile machine for chopping, slicing, shredding, mixing and more, while its customer page shows mixed owner feedback. That evidence can help explain what the model offers, but it does not establish independent performance or reliability. Philips says the model is no longer available; current second-hand stock and compatible replacement parts are unverified.
What is the HR7782/00, and is it still available?
Philips identifies the HR7782/00 as the Jamie Oliver Food processor. Its product page says the model is no longer available; Philips regional pages also describe it as discontinued, with one stating that production has stopped. This establishes its discontinued status, not whether a particular retailer or second-hand seller has a unit. Philips does not confirm current availability of model-specific replacement parts in the cited product information.
Philips’s product page lists a 1000 W motor, a 3.4 L bowl and eight accessories. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. The official leaflet, issued in 2023, gives a 220–240 V rating, 50/60 Hz frequency and a 1.2 m cord, and notes that specifications may change without notice. Check the rating plate on any unit you are considering, especially if it was imported.

Philips promotes its PowerChop system as using the blade shape, cutting angle and inner bowl together to chop soft and hard ingredients. The company also lists puréeing and cake-batter mixing. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions; they are not independently tested performance claims.
#1 Best Overall
- Built-in bowl scraper saves time. Quickly process ingredients without stopping to use a spatula. Simply move the scraper from side-to-side to scrape the bowl while the food processor is running or the power is off — no need to remove the lid.
- Slice, shred, chop, mix and puree with 2 versatile attachments. The Hamilton Beach food processor gives you 5 processing functions and includes a stainless steel slicing/shredding disc and chopping/pureeing blade so you can tackle every job with ease.
- Powerful 450 watt motor. Make healthy salads, homemade salsa, hearty acai bowls and more. The 450 watt motor easily powers through the toughest ingredients, so you can spend less time processing and more time enjoying.
- Precise control with 2 speeds plus pulse. The low and high speeds plus pulse give you the control you need for a variety of recipes. Use the high speed when you need more power and select the low speed for processing or mixing delicate foods.
- 10 cup bowl capacity. The generous 10 cup bowl fits large volumes of food all at once, and the large feed chute saves you time by reducing the need to pre-cut food before processing or using as a vegetable chopper.
The official product information lists the following tools and functions:
- Adjustable slicing disc: Philips’s 2023 leaflet specifies a 1–7 mm range.
- Kneading tool and balloon beater: listed for dough or batter preparation, whipping and emulsifying.
- Stainless-steel chopping knife and S-blade: among the listed cutting and processing tools.
- Citrus press: for pressing citrus fruit.
- Two inserts or discs: Philips also promotes a reversible fine/coarse shredding disc.
- Serrated knife: Philips describes it for frozen desserts.
Philips lists additional uses including chopping, creaming, crumbling, cutting, folding, mashing and mincing. The product page states eight accessories, but a second-hand listing may not include every piece. Ask the seller to identify and photograph the actual contents rather than assuming the full advertised set is present.

Comments are mixed. Some reviewers praised speed, power, stability and food preparation. Others described bowl-handle failure, cracked bowl or lid parts, difficulty finding replacements, food left over after grating and sparse instructions. These are individual reports, not proof that a particular problem is widespread. One reviewer wrote, “My handle broke on the bowl making the processor useless.” Another said they were happy with its performance but added, “I can’t get any replacement parts now”.

Philips’s product page also attributes this endorsement to “Jamie O.”: “I use my food processor every day. This one chops like a ninja and speeds up every aspect of my cooking, whether I’m slicing, shredding or mixing. It can even be used to knock up a quick ice cream. It’s a great kitchen shortcut”. This is a manufacturer-published endorsement, not independent test evidence.
Can you get a replacement bowl or other parts?
Philips offers a general parts and accessories lookup and says customers can search by product number when parts are available. The company also notes that not every part can be replaced at home. The available Philips information does not confirm a currently available bowl or accessory specifically compatible with HR7782/00, so do not assume a part advertised for another Philips model will fit.

Search the Philips support site using the exact product number, HR7782/00, and confirm compatibility with Philips before buying a part. If the lookup does not show a matching component, treat compatibility and availability as unconfirmed rather than relying on a similar-looking listing.
What to check before buying a used HR7782/00
These are practical checks based on the machine’s listed components and voltage, plus issues raised in individual owner reviews; they are not a Philips inspection protocol.

- LIMITED 3-YEAR WARRANTY: The Cuisinart Food Processor comes with a limited 3-year warranty on the entire unit and a full 5-year warranty on the motor.
- Confirm the model and voltage. Ask for a clear photo of the rating plate showing HR7782/00 and the electrical rating. The leaflet specifies 220–240 V, so verify compatibility with your local supply before purchasing an imported unit.
- Inventory the accessories. Have the seller photograph the bowl, lid, pusher, blade, discs and any other included tools. Compare what is physically present with the manufacturer’s list, and account for missing pieces before agreeing a price.
- Inspect the bowl and lid closely. Request close-up photos of the handle and lid, including areas around joins and catches, for cracks or damage.
- Check the safety interlock. Philips lists lid-and-bowl detection. Ask the seller to confirm it engages correctly; do not bypass the interlock to test the motor.
- Request a demonstration if practical. A brief demonstration can show whether the unit powers on and operates with the bowl and lid fitted. It does not guarantee that every attachment works or that the machine will remain reliable.
How to judge whether it is the right buy
For a used unit, weigh its bowl capacity, motor rating and included attachments against the asking price, and factor in the cost or difficulty of sourcing any missing parts. Also consider local voltage and what support or warranty, if any, the seller actually provides. Philips lists broad functions and a substantial accessory set, but the model’s discontinued status makes the condition and completeness of the specific unit especially important. No specific substitute model is established here as a superior match.
