The Philips Brilliance 346P1C pairs a 34-inch curved ultrawide screen with a 100 Hz refresh rate, USB-C connectivity and up to 90 W of laptop power delivery. IT Pro reviewer Tim Danton praised its brightness, whites, multi-PC support and ports in a review published on 4 January 2022, but found the default color temperature too cool. Those are the findings of that review, not a current comparison with newer monitors.
What are the Philips Brilliance 346P1C’s specifications?
IT Pro reported the following specifications for the 346P1C it reviewed. Philips also publishes specifications for the closely named 346P1CRH/00, but that is a distinct regional variant; its figures should not be assumed to describe every 346P1C SKU.

How well does it work as a productivity monitor?
Room for wide workflows
The 21:9, 3,440 × 1,440 panel offers a wide desktop for placing multiple windows side by side. Its 100 Hz refresh rate is above the conventional 60 Hz baseline, which can make scrolling and pointer movement appear smoother; it does not, by itself, establish how the monitor performs in games or color-critical work.

Connecting a laptop and other PCs
The reviewed 346P1C includes USB-C with up to 90 W power delivery, alongside DisplayPort and HDMI. That combination can suit a desk where a laptop and other video sources share one display. The review also praises multi-PC support and port selection. Philips specifies a built-in KVM on the 346P1CRH/00, while its leaflet describes USB-C docking and a pop-up webcam for the 346P1CRH family. Check the exact model’s ports, KVM behavior, webcam inclusion and current manual before relying on those features.
USB-C power delivery is not a promise that every laptop will charge at its full rated speed: actual charging depends on the laptop’s requirements and the connection. Confirm that the particular computer supports video and data over USB-C as well as charging.
Stand and desk fit
For the reviewed 346P1C, IT Pro lists 180 mm of height adjustment, tilt from −5° to +25°, and 360° swivel. The reported weight is 11.7 kg, so allow for a substantial monitor and check the desk or mounting arrangement before installation.

In his 4 January 2022 review, Tim Danton highlighted the monitor’s strong brightness and whites, its ability to support multiple PCs, and its useful port selection. His main stated drawback was an overly cool default color temperature, which may make the image look bluer than some users prefer.
Danton’s verdict was: “If you’re looking for a curved 34in panel that has it all, though, The Philips 346P1C is a brilliant choice.” That is his assessment of the reviewed monitor at the time, not evidence that it leads today’s market or suits every use case. The cited material does not establish a current head-to-head comparison or a measured color-accuracy result.

Philips’s official specifications and leaflet use the 346P1CRH suffix, while IT Pro reviewed a 346P1C. The similar names do not establish that all regional SKUs have identical specifications or included items.
- Match the full model suffix on the product listing and monitor label to the manufacturer documentation for your region.
- Verify the specific connections, USB-C power delivery, KVM and webcam features you need in the local product page or manual.
- Confirm current warranty coverage and included accessories for that exact SKU; the cited review does not establish current terms.
Philips’s 346P1CRH product leaflet describes a 34-inch curved ultrawide with 3,440 × 1,440 resolution, USB-C docking, built-in KVM, DisplayHDR 400 and a pop-up webcam. Those are family/variant details, not a guarantee about every 346P1C listing.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?

It is a plausible fit for someone seeking a curved 34-inch ultrawide for a multi-device desk, especially if the reviewed model’s USB-C charging, broad port selection and adjustable stand match their setup. The cool default color temperature is a real caveat for users who prefer warmer image settings. Because the available review dates to January 2022 and does not compare current alternatives, judge it against today’s competing monitors, local support and the price of the exact regional SKU rather than treating the historical verdict as a present-day ranking.
