HGC Development, LLC, a subsidiary of adjacent Huntsville Golf Club, offered $5.25 million for the approximately 57-acre Wilkes-Barre property. The proposal includes expanding the golf club and building an event and conference center. It also leaves open the possibility of leasing academic space to Misericordia University for graduate studies, workforce development, and other learning opportunities. These are proposed uses, not completed or finalized projects.
