Build Pearl as an Ice Elation support and sustain character. The guides that cover her in Version 4.6 agree on most of the kit: Colors for Tomorrow as the leading Light Cone, the Dreamlit Actor Relic set, a Healing Bonus body, Speed boots, a DEF% sphere, and an Energy Regeneration Rate rope. The one real disagreement is the Planar Ornament. HSR Build favors Sprightly Vonwacq, while Beebom favors Broken Keel. Which one you pick depends on what your team already needs, so there is no single uncontested best set.
Where Pearl fits in a team
Pearl is a 5-star Ice character on the Elation path. The guides reviewed for this article describe her as a support and sustain unit whose stats scale with DEF rather than with attack. That shapes everything else: her gear should keep her durable and keep the Elation team running, and her team should be built around Elation characters.
Because her value depends on Elation, the usual advice is to start from the characters you already have. Pearl’s gear and lineup decisions below all assume you are building an Elation-centered team.

Best Light Cone for Pearl
Colors for Tomorrow is the Light Cone that the reviewed guides name most often. HSR Build calls it the closest fit to Pearl’s kit. Its ranking comes from comparing kit scaling on paper, not from playtested damage numbers, so treat it as a reasoned recommendation rather than a measured result.
#1 Best Overall
- Honkai: Star Rail Light Cone Series Flowing Acrylic Stand - A Grounded Ascent
F2P and budget alternatives
- Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures (Superimposition 5): Prydwen lists this as a free-to-play option at S5. It is the cone to look at if you do not have Colors for Tomorrow.
- Until the Flowers Bloom Again and Elation Brimming With Blessings: Beebom lists both as alternatives to Colors for Tomorrow.
- Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures also appears in Beebom’s alternatives list.
None of these rankings is an official HoYoverse ranking. They are third-party guide opinions.
Best Relics for Pearl
Dreamlit Actor is the Relic set that all three guides with build sections recommend. The set’s bonuses, as described by HSR Build, are:
Rank #2
- Honkai: Star Rail Light Cone Series Flowing Glitter Acrylic Stand - Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest
- 2-piece: 6% SPD.
- 4-piece: When the wearer uses a Skill or Ultimate on one other ally target, that ally gains Elation. At 10 or more Certified Banger, the effect also grants all ally targets CRIT DMG for three turns.
Beebom names Diviner of Distant Reach and Eagle of Twilight Line as alternatives to Dreamlit Actor. Those sets are useful if you already own them and cannot craft or farm the Dreamlit Actor pieces in time.

This is the slot where the guides split. The two main recommendations trade off different benefits.
Rank #3
- Honkai: Star Rail Light Cone Series Flowing Glitter Acrylic Stand - Inherently Unjust Destiny
| Planar Ornament | Recommended by | Main benefits cited | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sprightly Vonwacq | HSR Build (primary); Beebom lists it as an alternative | 5% Energy Regeneration Rate; 40% opening action advance at 120+ SPD | Builds that need faster turn order and more energy generation |
| Broken Keel | Beebom (primary) | Effect RES; team CRIT DMG | Builds that need Effect RES to resist debuffs, or that want the team-wide CRIT DMG buff |
The guides do not establish a single winner. If your Pearl already reaches 120 SPD or your team struggles with energy, Sprightly Vonwacq addresses that directly. If your team is hit by debuffs or can use a CRIT DMG buff, Broken Keel is the stronger fit.
Main stats and substat targets
The guides agree on the main stats: a Healing Bonus body, SPD boots, a DEF% sphere, and an Energy Regeneration Rate rope. HSR Build ranks DEF% above SPD as a substat priority.
Beebom gives the following numeric targets for Pearl:
| Stat | Beebom target | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Effect RES | At least 50% | A guide recommendation, not an in-game requirement |
| DEF | Approximately 4,000–5,000 | A guide recommendation, not an in-game requirement |
| SPD | 160 or more, ideally 180 | A guide recommendation, not an in-game requirement |
These are targets from one guide, not thresholds set by the game. Treat them as goals to aim for, and adjust if your Relics cannot reach them. HSR Build also lists Pearl’s Ultimate cost at 180 Energy in its kit data.

Team options
Every lineup below keeps Pearl in an Elation-centered team. The other slots change with the roster.
| Guide | Lineup |
|---|---|
| HSR Build (lead team) | Pearl, Silver Wolf LV.999, Aventurine • Waveflair, Yao Guang |
| HSR Build (alternative) | Pearl, Evanescia, Elation Trailblazer, Yao Guang |
| Beebom (base) | Silver Wolf LV.999, Yao Guang, Elation Trailblazer, Pearl |
| Beebom (variants) | A version with Sparxie, and a version with Aventurine • Waveflair, Mortenax Blade, and Ashveil |
Use the lead team when you have Silver Wolf LV.999 and Aventurine. Use the Evanescia or Beebom variants when your roster is short on those units or when you want a different carry.
How to choose between the options
- Light Cone: Start with Colors for Tomorrow if you own it. Otherwise choose Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures for a free-to-play path.
- Planar Ornament: Choose Sprightly Vonwacq if you need energy and turn order. Choose Broken Keel if you need Effect RES or the team CRIT DMG buff.
- Substats: Prioritize SPD and DEF to reach the guide targets, then add Effect RES if your Relics allow it.
- Team: Keep Pearl with Elation characters, then fill the remaining slots with the carry or support you already have.
