The advertised touch-up tools include cropping, rotating, filters, signatures, and inserting additional pages. In practice, that means you can adjust a capture and assemble a multi-page document before exporting it.

PDFgear said the app was free, ad-free, and without usage limits at launch. The evidence establishes what the company announced, not a continuing independent verification of its commercial terms. Before scanning a large archive, confirm the current listing for subscriptions, in-app purchases, account requirements, advertisements, export restrictions, or quotas.
Do not confuse PDFgear Scan with every product in the wider PDFgear family. A separate Android PDF editor page says its Copilot feature requires an internet connection; that statement does not establish the network behavior of each PDFgear Scan function.

What should you check before scanning personal documents?
Review the current privacy disclosures
Google Play’s developer-provided data-safety section says the app may collect personal information, that data is encrypted in transit, and that no data is shared with third parties.
