The closest available sale roundup lists six PC speaker systems, but it does not include a soundbar and its lowest reported price is $25.99—not $27.99. Those prices were reported on June 24, 2026, so check retailers for current price and stock before buying.
What the sale roundup includes—and what it doesn’t
Tom’s Hardware’s June 24, 2026 roundup covers six PC speaker systems from Creative, Edifier, Onkyo, Audioengine, and SteelSeries. It describes options ranging from a compact stereo pair to a 5.1 surround system. It does not list a soundbar, and the lowest price it reports is $25.99 for the Creative Pebble V2. The roundup’s prices are historical, not confirmation of current deals or availability. Tom’s Hardware’s speaker coverage is the source for the roundup and its product descriptions.
That means the roundup does not substantiate a claim that soundbars are on sale or that its offers start at $27.99. Lenovo search results separately show a Creative Pebble SE with an estimated value of $27.99 and a Creative Stage Air V2 soundbar listing, but neither establishes that those products or prices belong to this roundup. Lenovo’s listings are separate from the deals below.

| Model | Reported price | Configuration and connections | Best fit described by the roundup |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creative Pebble V2 | $25.99 | Compact USB-connected stereo pair | A low-cost step up from monitor speakers |
| Edifier G2000 | $84.99 | 2.0 gaming-oriented set; Bluetooth and 3.5mm; subwoofer connection for expansion | Gaming and bass-forward sound; the roundup says its emphasis on lows and less prominent mids make it less suited to music than some alternatives |
| Edifier M60 | $149.99 | 3-inch mid-bass driver and 1-inch tweeter; 66W total output across four drivers; Bluetooth, 3.5mm, and USB-C | More rounded movie and music use than the G2000 |
| Onkyo GX-30ARC | $249.99 | Powered speakers with 4-inch woofers, 50 watts, angled desktop stands, and USB-C, Bluetooth, 3.5mm, optical, RCA, phono, and HDMI ARC inputs | A broadly connected desktop setup |
| Audioengine A2+ Wireless | $223 white; $209 red | Compact pair with real wood cabinets, 24-bit DAC, Bluetooth, USB-C, RCA, 3.5mm, and subwoofer expansion port | A premium compact alternative |
| SteelSeries Arena 9 | $543.99 | 5.1 system with center channel, four satellites, 6.5-inch down-firing subwoofer, wireless rear speakers, lighting, software controls, and 280W peak rating | True surround sources; stereo can be converted to simulated surround |
Which speakers suit your setup?
For a simple, inexpensive upgrade
The Creative Pebble V2 is the roundup’s compact USB stereo choice. Tom’s Hardware notes that it is physically the same size as the more powerful Pebble Pro, while lacking some newer features such as Bluetooth. Choose it if a small footprint and basic desktop audio matter more than wireless playback or expansion.
For gaming with a path to more bass
The Edifier G2000 is the gaming-oriented stereo option. Its Bluetooth and 3.5mm inputs cover common connections, and its subwoofer connection leaves room to add bass later. The trade-off in the roundup’s description is a low-heavy tuning that is less appealing for music than more balanced alternatives.

For movies and music at a desk
The Edifier M60 is presented as a more rounded multimedia option than the G2000, with USB-C alongside Bluetooth and 3.5mm. Its reported four-driver, 66W configuration offers more detail to compare than a simple 2.0 label alone, though the roundup’s figure is not an independent test result.

For many source devices and connection types
The Onkyo GX-30ARC stands out for inputs: beyond USB-C and Bluetooth, it includes analog, optical, phono, and HDMI ARC connections. That breadth may be useful if the speakers need to serve more than a PC. The roundup also points to its own review, which praised sound quality and connection options; that is the publisher’s review assessment, not a new evaluation here.
Rank #3

- Plug & Play for Broad Compatibility - USB powered with 3.5mm audio and mic cables allows this rockstar to party on wide types of stages for PC, TV, and Laptop. Up to 31 in (80 cm) cable length between two speakers.
For a premium compact pair
The Audioengine A2+ Wireless is the premium compact choice in the list. Its reported inputs include Bluetooth, USB-C, RCA, and 3.5mm, with a port for subwoofer expansion. The June 24, 2026 article gave different prices by color—$223 for white and $209 for red—so don’t assume one quoted price applies to every finish or remains available.
For actual multi-speaker surround
The SteelSeries Arena 9 is the only listed 5.1 system. It includes a center channel, four satellites, and a subwoofer, with wireless rear speakers. Tom’s Hardware says it suits true surround sources best and can turn stereo into simulated surround. If your games, films, or other sources are mostly stereo, the system’s surround layout may not be the main benefit you use.
