When PC Mobile’s $25/25GB 5G offer launched on March 5, 2026, the 25GB allowance was made up of 20GB of base data and a 5GB bonus for customers using automatic payment. “CAN/US” referred to calling—not U.S. data roaming. The offer is a historical snapshot: PC Mobile’s homepage, crawled October 2, 2026, described 5G plans starting at $25 with 5GB, so check the live plan terms before signing up.
What the $25 launch offer included
MobileSyrup reported on March 5, 2026, that PC Mobile had cut the monthly price of its 25GB 5G plan to $25. The allowance comprised 20GB of base data plus 5GB credited after an automatic payment. MobileSyrup reported that unused bonus data expired after 30 days, rather than carrying over indefinitely. MobileSyrup’s launch coverage also described unlimited Canada/US calling, unlimited Canada-wide texting and international texting as part of the offer. Those are terms reported at launch, not a guarantee of what a current plan includes.
MobileSyrup said its review of the Wayback Machine showed the plan had previously cost $29 per month, making the launch price a $4 reduction. That comparison is MobileSyrup’s observation of the plan’s earlier price.

No. In the launch coverage, CAN/US described calling: calls within Canada and calls to the United States. It did not establish that the plan included U.S. data roaming. PC Mobile’s current homepage wording, crawled October 2, 2026, says its 5G plans include unlimited calls Canada-wide and to the U.S.; the same page says PC Mobile does not offer international roaming or Wi-Fi calling. Text terms can have exclusions. PC Mobile’s homepage legal text excludes roaming, premium messages, and picture or video messages from certain text descriptions. Its plan FAQ describes unlimited Canada-wide calls and unlimited international text, while the homepage is more specific about U.S. calls on 5G plans. Check the live plan terms if a particular type of text or use while travelling matters to you.
Is the 25GB offer still available?
Do not assume the March offer remains available. Later reports recorded lineup changes: iPhone in Canada reported on April 21, 2026, that PC Mobile had four plans, including a $25/25GB 5G option. On July 30, 2026, the publication reported a different lineup—$25/5GB 5G, $30/20GB and $35/35GB—with temporary bonus data on the higher tiers and pricing said to end August 5. Its July 30 plan update is a dated snapshot, not a current offer.

PC Mobile’s homepage result crawled October 2, 2026, described 5G plans starting at $25 per month with 5GB. The full lineup was not exposed in the available official plan information, so the October 4, 2026 terms for every plan cannot be confirmed here. Check PC Mobile’s live plan information before enrolling, especially for the data allowance, bonus-data conditions, expiry or rollover rules, and monthly price.

PC Mobile’s PC Optimum Rewards page describes a 20,000-point welcome bonus for eligible new customers after two months of service, registration and successful top-ups. It also describes 5% back in points on top-ups, with an additional 5% when using Auto Top-Up and an eligible PC Financial payment method. The extra portion can arrive later, and points are subject to terms; they should not be treated as an unconditional cash discount on the monthly plan price. The page’s legal section says its information is current as of October 2024, so verify that the offer and eligibility rules still apply.

Check coverage, speed and device compatibility
5G speed is a stated maximum, not a guarantee
PC Mobile says plans with 5G data may reach download speeds of up to 250 Mbps; its 4G LTE plans may reach up to 150 Mbps. These are potential maxima published by PC Mobile, not test results or guaranteed speeds. The company says actual speed and signal vary with the phone, configuration, traffic, environment and network conditions. Check its speed support information and assess coverage where you expect to use the service.
You can bring a phone or activate with eSIM
PC Mobile says customers can bring their own device and activate online with eSIM, buy SIM cards at more than 1,000 locations, or shop for phones through The Mobile Shop. The carrier lists example eSIM-compatible device families, including iPhone XS or later, Pixel 3 or later, Samsung Galaxy S21 or later with listed exceptions, and certain Motorola models. A new phone is not required if you already have a suitable device; confirm that it is unlocked and compatible with both the network and the plan before switching. What to compare before choosing a plan
Plan names and headline data totals can obscure important differences. Compare the current terms on the same date, paying particular attention to:
- Monthly price and the base data allowance, separate from any conditional bonus.
- Whether bonus data expires or rolls over, and what action qualifies you to receive it.
- Whether the plan uses 5G or LTE, and whether your handset supports the network.
- Canada/U.S. calling versus data roaming while travelling.
- Text inclusions and exclusions, including picture, video or premium messages.
- Rewards eligibility, required payment method, registration and timing.
- Local coverage and the conditions that affect signal and speed.
Those checks matter more than comparing the March $25/25GB headline with a current competitor price: the reported launch and competitor comparisons are historical snapshots, while plan terms can change.
