Chubb appointed Paul Jones Head of Accident & Health (A&H) for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective 1 October 2026. Based in Madrid, he will lead the region’s A&H growth strategy, serving corporate clients, affinity groups and consumers.

What Jones will do in the role

Chubb says Jones is responsible for setting and delivering its A&H growth strategy across EMEA. The company intends to bring its A&H capabilities to corporate clients, affinity groups and consumers, while pursuing opportunities in both established and emerging markets. These are stated aims; the appointment announcement does not report results or specific growth targets.

Chubb Regional President EMEA Ana Robic described Jones as a leader with experience in consumer and corporate products and distribution, and said his appointment positions the company to broaden its offering and deliver solutions across the region. That is Chubb’s assessment of its appointee and plans.

What the announcement does—and does not—establish

Chubb’s announcement is leadership news, not a product or performance update. It does not provide A&H market share, premiums, growth rates, policy-performance figures, product-level policy terms or customer eligibility criteria. Chubb’s release describes the company as operating in 54 countries and territories and employing approximately 45,000 people worldwide; these are company-wide figures, not measures of its A&H business.
