You can save supported Patreon audio and video for offline playback in the Patreon app. For some uploaded audio posts, you can also download the audio file if the creator allows it; eligible podcast episodes may be available through a private audio RSS feed. These are different options, and none is a universal way to export every Patreon post as a reusable file.
Choose the download method that fits the content

Download audio or video in the Patreon app
Use the Patreon app when you want offline playback of supported member audio or video without exporting a file. Patreon’s mobile app includes controls for automatic downloads, removing completed downloads, and choosing video download quality.

Open the Patreon app and sign in to the account with access to the post.

Open the Library or the app’s account settings to find download controls. Patreon’s app navigation and settings can vary by device; see its current app instructions.

Choose whether to enable automatic downloads. You can also manage finished downloads and, for video, select a download quality where that setting is available.

Open an eligible audio or video post and use the app’s download control. Once downloaded, play it from the app while offline.
This method is app-managed offline playback, not a general export of the media file. The feature applies to supported member audio and video posts; it does not establish a way to download every kind of post.
Download an uploaded audio file when the creator permits it
Some Patreon audio posts offer a direct audio-file download. Patreon says this option is enabled by default for uploaded audio posts, but creators can disable it in their audio settings. If the post has no download option, the creator may have turned it off, or the post may not be an uploaded audio file.

Open the audio post and look for its download control. If it is absent and you believe it should be available, ask the creator whether downloads are enabled. The setting is controlled by the creator, as described in Patreon’s audio-download settings documentation.
Listen to podcast episodes through a private RSS feed
If a creator enables private audio RSS, you can add the feed to a compatible podcast app and listen outside Patreon. This feed is limited to posts the creator designated as podcast episodes. It does not include text posts, video posts, or external audio links, so it is not a complete copy of the creator’s Patreon page.

Open the creator’s page and go to the membership area to find the private RSS feed, if one is available.

Copy the feed URL and add it using the podcast app’s option for adding a private or custom RSS feed. App labels differ, so consult that app’s instructions if needed.

Keep the feed URL private. Patreon says it contains a unique authorization token; sharing it can lead to the link being reset or account restrictions.
For setup details, see Patreon’s private RSS guide. The feed is creator-dependent and only includes eligible podcast episodes.

You cannot access a post after cancelling: Access can depend on the membership’s billing type. Patreon’s post-access troubleshooting guide explains what to check.

An audio file download is missing: The creator may have disabled downloads, or the post may not be an uploaded audio post. Ask the creator if you need clarification.

A podcast episode is missing from the feed: Only podcast-designated episodes appear in private RSS; other post types and external audio links do not.

An app download does not appear: Check the app’s Library or download settings and confirm that you are using the mobile app. Patreon’s app guide describes its features and navigation.

Use downloaded content only as authorized
Patreon’s Terms of Use, last updated May 27, 2026, describe member access as a limited, revocable license for private, personal, non-promotional, non-commercial use, subject to the terms and payment of applicable charges. The terms also prohibit using creator content in unauthorized ways, including sharing it with people who did not purchase the relevant membership or offering. Keep downloaded files and private RSS links to your own authorized use.
