The patchwork Villager from Pumpkin Town is Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. If you are solving a Star Path duty, look for Sally—not a separate Pumpkin Town character. Her recruitment and friendship quests are a separate, permanent progression route.
Who is the patchwork Villager from Pumpkin Town?
It is Sally. Her ragdoll, stitched-together appearance matches the “patchwork” clue, and a recent guide identifies her as the answer to the Pumpkin Town Villager prompt (Destructoid, October 5, 2026).
How do you unlock Sally?
According to the community Dreamlight Valley Wiki’s Sally guide, Jack Skellington must already be unlocked, and you must complete “Odds & Ends…” and “Healing House” before Sally’s recruitment quest becomes available. How do you complete the Star Path duties?
Star Path duties are event objectives, not steps needed to recruit Sally. For the Haunting Elegance Star Path, a guide maps the Pumpkin Town patchwork Villager duties to Sally: give her one of her displayed favorite gifts, or hang out with her for 30 minutes. The guide reports a payout of 20 event tokens for each duty (Cozy Corner Gaming, September 26, 2026).
- For the gift duty, check Sally’s current favorite gifts in-game and give her one of those items. The requested favorites can change, so use the gifts displayed for that day rather than a static list.
- For the hangout duty, ask Sally to hang out and spend 30 minutes with her, as specified by the Haunting Elegance guide.
Star Path names, duties, and token payouts are event-specific and time-sensitive. The 20-token payouts and 30-minute requirement above are values reported for that guide’s Haunting Elegance duties, not permanent Sally requirements.
