Start with the garment and intended use
These listings span fleece layers, insulated parkas and rainwear. Compare the type of garment and the weather protection or warmth you need, rather than treating the largest percentage as the best deal. A 50% reduction on a parka is not directly comparable to a discount on a fleece jacket.

Match the exact product and variant
Open the product page and verify the model name, size, color and current price. Category pages can show ranges or separate variants, and an advertised discount may apply only to the listed selection. REI’s broader Patagonia fleece sale category showed 67 products; that category count is not the number of discounted picks in a particular roundup.
Check the promotion timing
REI’s general deals page advertised outlet savings through October 6, 2026. That date is attached to the general outlet promotion, not a confirmed expiration date for every Patagonia product. Recheck the item and its offer at the time you buy.
