Only two specific templates in the available official listings can be verified here: Framer’s LUMIÈRE cinematic and FAR ENOUGH. Both describe parallax motion, but only LUMIÈRE explicitly lists smooth-scroll interactions; FAR ENOUGH instead specifies smooth page transitions and a reduced-motion fallback. A full, defensible list of 23 named templates cannot be established from the available listings, so this guide gives the verified options and a practical way to assess additional candidates without treating a marketplace tag as proof.
Verified parallax website templates
These are the two specific templates supported by official listing details. Their motion features are not interchangeable: parallax changes the relative movement of visual layers as a visitor scrolls, while scroll reveals, sticky sections, and page transitions describe different behaviors.
| Template | Platform | Best fit | Motion described | Other relevant details |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LUMIÈRE cinematic | Framer | Photography studios, creative agencies, and visual storytellers | Smooth-scroll interactions, parallax effects, image reveals, animated project cards, and transitions | Responsive design; Framer CMS for Works and Journal; project and portfolio pages, services, studio, team, journal, and contact content. The listing search result showed $59; confirm the current price and license on the live listing. |
| FAR ENOUGH | Framer | Boutique travel studios, villas, retreats, safari camps, and travel journals | Parallax masonry grid, scroll-reveal text, sticky stacking cards, and smooth page transitions | CMS collections, desktop/tablet/phone breakpoints, and a reduced-motion fallback for every animation. Listed as free; published and updated October 2, 2026, with a limited license. Check the listing for current terms. |
Choose LUMIÈRE for a visual portfolio
LUMIÈRE is the clearer match when the requirement specifically includes both parallax and smooth scrolling. Its portfolio-oriented pages and CMS collections also make it more suitable than a single-purpose landing page for presenting a body of work and journal content.
Choose FAR ENOUGH for travel and hospitality
FAR ENOUGH is built around travel imagery and hospitality-style content. Its listed effects include parallax and smooth page transitions, but the official description does not make the same explicit smooth-scroll claim as LUMIÈRE. Its reduced-motion fallback is a useful accessibility detail to check in the preview.
How to find and verify more templates
The Webflow parallax template catalog is a discovery tool: it exposes template names, listing dates, page or layout types, and prices. A parallax filter does not by itself establish that a template scrolls smoothly, nor does it show that the motion works well on mobile. Open each candidate’s official listing and preview before deciding whether it belongs on a shortlist.
#1 Best Overall
- Confirm the effect in the listing or preview. Look for an explicit description or visible demonstration of parallax or scroll-linked motion. Treat “smooth scrolling” as a separate claim that also needs its own evidence.
- Identify how the motion works. Note whether the design uses parallax layers, scroll-triggered reveals, pinned or sticky sections, or transitions between pages. These effects solve different design problems and can appear together.
- Check fit and site structure. Match the intended site type to the template’s actual pages and CMS collections. A strong landing page may not provide the project, service, journal, or contact pages needed for a larger site.
- Test responsive behavior and reduced motion. Preview desktop, tablet, and phone layouts, including touch interaction. Check whether the template provides a reduced-motion option or fallback rather than assuming desktop animation will translate well to a phone.
- Verify purchase and ongoing terms on the live listing. Check the current price, license scope, update policy, and support details. Marketplace prices and available terms can change.
Parallax and smooth scrolling are not the same feature
Parallax describes visual elements moving at different rates relative to the page as it scrolls. Smooth scrolling describes animated movement through a page or between destinations. A template can include parallax without smooth scrolling, or smooth transitions without a claim of smooth scroll behavior. Avoid describing a template as “smooth scrolling” unless its official feature description or preview supports that specific claim.
Builder controls, CSS, and JavaScript libraries such as GSAP with ScrollTrigger are among the implementation paths discussed in Creative Bloq’s March 24, 2026 guide to parallax scrolling. The guide also cautions that excessive motion can interfere with navigation and suggests limiting heavy effects or providing a way to turn them off. Platform capabilities and controls may change, so verify current documentation before choosing a builder based on a specific feature.

What makes a parallax template usable
- Motion supports the content. Use movement to establish depth or reveal a story, not to make every scroll gesture an animation.
- Navigation remains predictable. Sticky panels, layered movement, and transitions should not make it difficult to reach content or understand where the visitor is on the page.
- Mobile is treated as a real layout. Check touch behavior and phone breakpoints in the actual preview; a responsive label alone does not show how every effect behaves.
- Reduced-motion needs are considered. Prefer a template with an explicit fallback or a clear way to reduce or disable demanding motion.
